Hi everyone of here, can someone give me some opinion that loft unit for Ecosky here is it worth to buy?The total sqft for Loft unit is 1399sqft,which is 650sqft for lower floor and 750sqft for upper floor.Price is start frm 1.02mil.I am planning to buy this for own staying but dont know is it worth to buy or not in this price coz this size unit seems too small, but I do like this concept which comes with lower and upper floor.😌
*
The Loft concept is quite good. If for own stay then ok, else investment wise will be very steep. Concept wise, I think overall EcoSky concept is very good. There were a series of talk in the past few months organised by EcoWorld introducing their layout and security concept. I am sure you will be impressed. All the best!!! smile.gif

With a million over, you may as well buy a bigger built up area with guarded n gated landed house in cyberjaya,  all the upscale malls ( 15 malls all together )  are coming up in cyberjaya and putrajaya now..nice and greenery environment with  hsr n mrt  train coming up soon. Where you get deal like that in klang valley?  I don't think u will get it. Just my two cents

Erm....not to be rude here. But Cyberjaya is quite off away from KL and not under Klang Valley. rclxub.gif

Greater KL extends to sepang and putrajaya. It s part of ETP plan to develop the southern part of kl. Try to wiki it. If you want good lifestyle with no congestion while having good accessibilities and convenience of malls with good money value to buy bigger good guarded n gated, cyberjaya is the way to to go. The place has all the mid to high end restaurant already..f n b outlet is opening like crazy which I have lost count...I'm seeing plan b, olé olé bali, countless of japnese and foreign restaurant, etc
.just drive down to cyberjaya and see it urself..seeing is believing...smile.gif
In one or two years later when cbj is mature and established with mrt and hsr n others iconic malls coming up in the future, we will say kl is quite a away off too. smile.gif..it s all in the mind..

Dont think cyberjaya will surpass kl in the near future.....may be a nice place to live but the distance will be a disadvantage to many

you are spot on. our mind works around convenience and then lead to our decision-making on how far a place is in relative to another place.

I still remember 3 years ago, I was looking into 3 areas to invest on my properties, KL Eco city was one of the 3 considerations. In the end I made a wise choice and decided to go for a landed property in Cyberjaya. Not only then I saw the potentials you mentioned above, but half of it have materialised now after 3 years. what is more important here is that, with the same money, i get a much bigger built up area with guarded and gated concept and now we have all the convenience of high-end F&B outlets that leave me spoil with choice, whearea 3 years ago, using the same money, i would have gotten a pigeon hole unit in a congested area we know of around Mid Valley. I just don't see the value of money if i were to invest or stay around in Mid Valley or KLCC with a much SMALLER unit. Our properties development and land scarcity haven't reached the stage of Hong Kong, and yet why would we want to make us feel like we are staying in HongKong, staying in pigeon hole that doesn't make any financial sense. Also ask yourself why spend so much just to stuck in a jam every day and inhaling the air pollution around Mid Valley?

With also all the datuk-datin working in Putrajaya, i believe IOI resort city mall will have a higher end mall like Garden coming up soon. smile.gif No doubt about that.

babe,
for own stay you must first establish your criterias.
you are attracted to ecosky solely because of the loft concept?
if concept takes precedence over location, developer's brand, tenure of land, status of land, pricing, etc.
then by all means hunt down only loft type designs.
loft or double storey units highrise is not uncommon in malaysia or even KL.
quite a number of penthouse also have this feature.

if you got the dough, i humbly suggest you check out larger sized unit of minimum double storey highrise.
some examples which might be of relevance to you:
1. armanee terrace
2. puteri palma
3. casa suites

these are just some of the units that comes with loft.

but if something new is also your criteria, ecosky could be your choice.

ekosky- what about the proposed incinerator that has now been approved? how is this going to affect
ekosky and surrounding areas? better check first before putting your money down...

as for cyberjaya- nice but not for everybody - sibeh far is a huge disadvantage if you work in KL - the
commuting can stress anyone out..

if you work in cyberjaya or nearby then it makes more sense otherwise..

Hi guys,
I have read the whole thread in just a few hours and I read every of your post in detail because purchasing a house for own stay is not cheap. I'm eyeing two property currently and I need your help whether I should became your neighbour or not. biggrin.gif

Kiara East vs EcoSky
Price factor: 630psqft vs 700psqft both after discount.
Completion date: Q1 2016 vs Q3 2018
Type: Leasehold vs Freehold

My concern:
1)I need a house to stay ASAP as I do not wish to travel Klang everyday to KL. Kiara East wins
2)I like freehold for no reason biggrin.gif EcoSky wins
3)I like EcoSky for the facilities. EcoSky wins
4)I'm single now, but planning for marry, so wanted to give a good environment for my family. EcoSky wins
5)EcoSky is so near to the garbage area and incinerator. Kiara east wins
6)Kiara East psqft seem cheaper, and suitable for a bachelor but soon to have family people like me. Kiara East wins.
7)Kiara East maintenance 0.28/sq ft. Kiara East wins
8)I'm still young, so I think I should not shoot too much bullet to my own stay home and invest first. Kiara East wins
9)Kiara East only one car park, additional car park at rm25,000. EcoSky wins.

Argghhhhhh, I just can't make the decision yet, anyone can enlighten me? I have a plan to buy both but stay in Kiara East meantime and move to EcoSky after completion and rent out Kiara East afterward, but this would use too much of my bullet. biggrin.gif

30% deposit is really hurts for two properties. BTW, what's your opinion based on my finding?

Nope, Lakeview 2018 completion and too high density, if buying LV, I rather wait ES for completion since both almost same date.
