1 more question here, https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=3044778&hl= this Deathadder ok? price 130 + mousepad, with 1 year warranty
*
Yup, the price is ok. But the mouse mats doesn't indicate whether is speed edition(fast) or control edition(precise).
Got 2 kinds of mouse mats.
3500dpi enough for most people unless you having very high resolution monitor.
Razer mouse mostly 1 year, except several high end mouse with extended warranty.

Nope, it either work or didn't work.

But I think as long as you not using Linux/Mac, there isn't compatibility issue with it.
*
Do a lot of keyboard always have issues with mac & linux? laugh.gif

Not sure what you meant there in your one liner.

The option to switch to 6kro is for full motherboard compatibility as nkro mode might have trouble getting into the bios. No a huge deal but it saves the hassle of swapping keyboards sometimes. The keycool is listed as unix/mac compatible so it wasn't an issue I was worried about.
*
Ya. 6kro and nkro is OS dependant, Mac OS only able to use 6kro.
Not a problem for most people.
For Ducky, top right corner 4 media keys are not working in Mac, Linux.
Keycool 87 is a nice keyboard smile.gif

So, choose better quality product is still a wise choice.

Y U NO BUY RAZER WUTH BLING BLING LEDS!?!????!!!

Razer is known for their bling bling. That's why they has the nickname of 灯厂.
*
haha... I'm using Razer Mamba 4G 2012.
Rainbow color LED on scroll but no LED on Razer logo. biggrin.gif
Normally also turn off the LED.

I believed most of the Razer product also having LED on the logo.

Iinm, their wireless range if mice don't have led, cause the space under logo need to install battery.
*
user posted image

Actually have very large space if they want to install the LED.
The battery is lithium rechargeable, just like the phone battery, not taken much space tho.
Once you dissemble it, you will notice cheap quality build of screw etc.

Then I think it is either concern for battery life or they lazy to design a separate pcb above the empty space in between battery and logo.
*
You're right about battery life. The LED drain alot of battery, so normally turn off it to save battery. biggrin.gif

me... generally use for typing..
some said that with mechanical keyboard, we can improve our typing pace, which is what I've doing..
currently using 5 years old logitech sk-s2930.. my typing now is between 50-60wpm..
hope my future mkb will help a bit, if not much.. smile.gif
*
My true story,
I changed keyboard layout from qwerty to dvorak during end of august, my starting typing speed on dvorak was 30-40 wpm according to 10fingers.com.
Then slowly improve month by month by 10wpm using MX blue. Currently at 7x wpm at the end of Nov.|
I learned to use touch typing without looking at the keyboard key too during these periods.
If using MX brown then will be increase by few wpm since brown is lighter.

Perfect practice makes Perfect! smile.gif

i guess u don't use CTRL C CTRL V often? tongue.gif
*
Haha.. Dvorak layout CTRL C CTRL V very far d...
so i remapped it..
There are 4 modifiers key on the right (alt, win, fn, ctrl), i mapped to 1st+3rd become CTRL C, 2nd+4th become CTRL V.
I think copy paste is the greatest invention. biggrin.gif
