Sorry to hear about the case but I am more interested to know about it...

1. Can i know what is the mileage of your 3 months old car now? - 6000 KM when it happened

2. Did you buy the car from AZ the dealer coz of free 3 years service and freebies etc  (Sa approach thru approach) ?  - yes

3. When was you 1st found of the leak how long AFTER that then only you go to SC (i presume its AZ SC), and they just wipe it off and let you go ? Did you go into the working area and SHOW them the leak ?  - right away on the same day. I went in there to show them the leak and after that they wiped it off

4. The Naza HQ  person you refer to, are they coming to AZ SC or you go to another SC (If yes which one is it) ? - They came from Naza HQ, Haji Mustafah, who FFK me on my appointment yesterday and leave me to deal with 3 engineers to explain my case, which eventually steamroll me

5. After the INITIAL wiped until now , how long edi and is there still leak at the same spot ?  - no spots visible, and that is the mysterious part


6. Did you leave your car there before hand prior to let the Korean engineer (btw my experience tell they are very bad in english - almost can't communicate at all) - I drove in on the day the korean engineer arrived.

Hi g88, sure thing, hopefully the below gives a clue about the car. Hopefully some insights would arise. The leak is basically on the rear side of the engine, facing the firewall. Leak went down that side of the engine and onto the drive shaft and subframe.

If no leak is not more spotted, seriously its hard to 'argue'....my advice is that do consistently keep an eye on the same spot which you suspect/saw leak previously, once it happen again go back to SC asap and bag their table.

I certainly agree with that bit. I am hoping that they take up more responsibility on the matter since the evidence has already been presented and it was their own guys that wiped it off, causing it not to be seen anymore. Also mainly due to the age of the vehicle, barely 3 months old when it happened, along with other issues that occurred with the auto transmission earlier.

Hopefully something comes out of it eventually...

I had a pretty bad experience with KIA after sales services today. My 3 month old Cerato had an engine oil leak since a month ago. The SC at Seri Kembangan wiped off the leak and after that it could not be found again. Naza HQ technical people took a look at it and also could not find the leak.

By the way, just to update about the steering (MDPS) knocking issue on Forte 2.0. Finally i managed to fix this issue at Alor Setar NazaKia SC. Got one 'otai' service technician there (i have raised the issue & talk to him personally) that competent enough with MDPS to do the job successfully. Cost? All i can say is that, it is much cheaper than if we do it at alternative steering specialise (Non Kia SC) at Singapore. Good job NazaKia SC

I think it's time to change my forte disk brake after drive for almost 4 yrs. Any member here have change the disk brake oledy? How is the total damage for changing the disk brake?

yea bro i understand ur concern, maybe u can go to few different SC and request them to check.
seriously those !@#$%^& dont know our worry and inconvenience they will cause for that kind of attitude.

when i got my car last time, my AC blew hot air after few weeks, brought it to nearby SC, they refilled my gas and they claimed 101% no leaking, then during my first service I requested them to check again, and again they said 101% no problem. i trusted them and 2 weeks later, what a lol, it blew hot air again.

i went to another SC, which is really good last time, they identified my problem in first visit. solved my problem in a week during CNY somemore. too bad that the SC already shut down.

i think a year ago or so already have recall for certain batch regarding atf hose.
hose will burst suddenly when u are driving. they can check whether you are affected or not by chassis number.

i think they will call u to go sc and replace. if no call then no need go.
