Depends. Whether you want:

A better cam with flash or not (Z1 wins)
Bigger/better screen angles or not (ZU wins)
Pocketable or not (Z1 wins)

And some other differences. Price is similar +- RM1xx

I personally considered ZU before. But the pocketibility issue (size too big for a clumsy person like me) and the absence of flash is a huge turn off.

Anyone here using AP set (which magnetic cable and dock not provided)? Is charging through the opened flap (micro usb) a hassle? Any probs so far? I was thinking m40+ for a magnetic cable isn't worth it.

Do you know where is cheapest dock/magnetic cable on sale? And I'll be getting a casing for z1. High chances that it won't be able to fit the dock. Most probably will get the cable only

my phone just died this morning and i think its time to get a new phone. i target for the z1 of course, but i'm currently studying in moscow, russia. if i were to buy from malaysia, the earliest i could get the phone is on january. i could also buy the phone here, but its RM2700 (unstated if its ori or AP). i did found a shop selling it for 1900 and it is a relatively small shop. i was planning to get only an AP set from malaysia.

question: should i wait for 2 months, of should i just get it from here? sony phones don't have many fakes so should be fine right?

i will definitely check the phone thoroughly (if they allow me to do so) before buying. kindly advise.
