not that i know of. so far most of us only do side-by-side comparison with other devices.

but some are reported to be so serious that the yellowish screen is noticeable even without side-by-side comparison.

usually i'll use my laptop if need to download such big file

but if your internet speed is good, shouldn't take too long to download 1gb also
i think your ppstream apps still keep running even after the download is completed

both have their pros and cons bro. note3 using OLED to be exact

in general,
OLED - better contrast, deeper black. but OLED are said to have a certain lifespan. and colour tends to be on the more saturated side

LCD - usually colours will be more natural.

Z1 spec still top of the line now. I think Sony no need to rush out its replacement so soon.

And yes, Sony's been having a hard time keeping its product a secret b4 launch. So if there's any z1 replacement on CES, I'm sure we'll hear about it already.

The recovery need to be installed manually via pc.

If you fail to update ota, suggest to check the following first:
- did you uninstall any system apps? If yes, reinstall back the system apps.
- did u have recovery installed? May need to remove the recovery of yes.

If you meet the above criteria but still cannot update via ota, I will suggest do a factory reset and try the ota.

If still cannot, flash the original rom, root and then ota without any apps install

i myself flashed the hk .534 rom. after that straight away root and then OTA update. no problem at all.

but i did all these without installing any apps, without changing superuser, and without recovery.

Z1s are said to be the Z1 refresh, but no information at all as to what aspect is upgraded. previously it's said to be an operator exclusive only device. really not much information on this

right now i can't think of any reason for current z1 owner to upgrade to z1s if it's true

processor? s800 is already the best processor currently. maybe it can be clock higher at 2.3/2,4/2.5 GHz... but even so in reality it'll be hardly noticeable. S805 maybe will really increase the performance. but by what margin?

screen? if using ips screen then it'll be good. but to me still not a strong reason to upgrade as the main diff is the viewing angle nia...

camera? in terms of hardware, z1 camera already have one of the best spec. what it really needs is the proper software to optimise its performance. and i doubt z1s will have better camera spec at the moment.

built & design? so far looks the same

early rumours says it is the international model name for z1 mini. but latest rumours says it's not z1 mini but is a z1 refresh model.
