deepfree version 6. i have install it but can't click any button to make it show out!

thankz bro.. it not ctrl... i try to press shift.. it's work..but if i got two partition and d:\ i haven't freeze so how did i do the configur?

hahaha... i forgot... sorry... just open ur deepfreeze, and then go to clone tab and set flag... choose ur partition to set or not..

Yes!! There do have solution on it on Diskless Solution (DDS), just the part of Switch on 1000Mbps (Gigabit), sure no issue of running any kind of games!!
Which server solution you're using now??

aiyo, if cant afford a cyber cafe management software,just use traditional way of jotting down in logbook or microsoft excel la...

i can easily bypass some CCM software at some CC...haha, yup, use without pay but useless lar for me, coz not going to CC anymore these day....

just my 0.02 cents... hopefully no hard feeling or againts on any parties.

i setup cafe for my clientw when i was in oversea and SG, and doing some tech part in MY too.. anyway, u may ask anything u want, and i wish that i could try my best to answer. but, i not pro.. so .. just manage to handle some simple cases.

basically, in China, SG or HK. most of them run on diskless.. maybe someone said it's new or unstable... the matter of fact is.. it's just like the terminal server which using in banking system. as i mentioned, there r serveral diskless software in the market, couldnt advice that whcih is the best, coz ... software always has a loop or bug. u can easily see in microsoft, multi billion dollar company and u could always see the patches for their product. so.. i bet no one dare to say their system is the best and unbeatable...

In term of technology requirement, depend on ur own situation. if u r establishing a cafe in outskirt. no compatitors who cares what system u r using.... diskless or iscsi or CGO, or whatever u named it just a solution for the cafe owner to easy manage their business. which is better or which os faster or which is the best.. really depend on ur $$$.

software rely on hardware where hardware depend on ur finacial $$$$. but of coz.. the person who setup should have certain knowledge bout the entire flow..... so .. u may ask anything u want, and we might able to share some idea here. thx and have a nice day.

Added on June 16, 2008, 12:00 amyup.. u r right... nothing is unbeatable.... most of the billing system has the limitation caused by the windows. so, for all the cafe owner, pls disable ur client on safe mode if u r not running on diskless system.

safe mode with domain controller is a big loop for any billing system. so.. disable it.

This software actually hide or compress the whole server to a file like winzip. I only can see the compressed file in server. It prevent other people to browse it and also for people to check license.

I heard it was from china. Anyone know it?

MICHEALSOFT DDS is a crap!!! I already bought the system a year ++....but until today, the Dota Battlelan still cannot be play because of the license key. Starcraft also need to download the crack and other online games also needed to be cracked or patched by ourself. For all that to be done, we have wasted few weeks for download, reinstallation, and testing. One more thing before you apply DDS, please bear in mind that you have to call DDS and you settle the problem YOURSELF. If they come down, they will charge RM1000 per trip!!!

So, how can you say it is good system?? Once the server down, you can close business until the server is up. I know a lot customers using DDS and they are also complaining and planning to change to other system.

Think twice before you decides!! Nice system, but only them can troubleshoot!!

For MICHEALSOFT DDS do u mean I still have to buy the whole PC except the hardisk and the Windows license? or Just need to buy mouse AND KEYBOARD ONLY?

with juz simple debugging session with Configure.exe i can disable the hard disk protection . i'm pretty sure the cc owner cursed me for having him redeploy huge image everytime i singgah to his cc.
