just a fast update for you Xsence.
it failed the oil repelling test. but at least you get to have half the smudge and fingerprint protection from 100% oleophobic coating.

Don't really understand your sentence...  Lol
Anyway would you recommend removing the Anti Shatter Film
If yes,  how do you do it
I heard from some previous user they say it's sticky? Got some kind of adhesive
*
easy to say, the performance isnt as good as true oleophobic coating.

and i dont really recommend you to remove the anti shatter film if you dont have scratches unless the film is messed up and you want the clarity of the glass.

for instructions, you can use a paper knife or small scraper (best). paper knife is a little harder as it is very large.
starting from the one of the corners, use the sharp edge and start peeling off a little and little. dont use too much force or you might cut the film. once the film at the corner lifts up, you can pull it off.

from my experience, its kinda sticky after removal but after flushing it with water, the stickiness will gone.

Correct me if I'm wrong. I do believe that Sony provide 1.5A wall plug charging for Z ultra instead of 1A as you said.
*
My AP unit also got 1.5A from Sony.

how does the hairline scratches come abt? unless its there before u remove the film?
*
i think it appears during removal. hmm.gif perhaps there are some sand because the glass is harder than the knife and suppose wont leave a scratch.
but i manage to cover it up with the glass protector, making it invisible.

Back side very easy to tear but front side I used up nearly 1 hours to tear it... sweat.gif
*
i spent 2 hours for it, as my index finger had swollen. my perspective view is that Sony used a solid plastic sheet, rather than a film so thats why it breaks easily even though i managed to 'give some openings'.

regard it as free screen protector, after sometime when it looks ugly, tear the shatter proof film off, and put some tempered glass sp would be nicer  brows.gif we all should do like this
*
thats why i did this, remove the film and replace it with tempered glass. although i lose the Sony logo, but its a hard work that worth to do.
dayum, the tempered glass protector i got doesnt have enough oleophobic coating. seems like i need to buy the kit. mad.gif
