mine is AP unit but never experienced it. mostly will take around a week or 2.
although mine is AP unit, i will still send it to authorized service centers. i dont mind if i have to pay for the parts, as the device is totally ripped by me.

Hi guys, do any of you people have issues with waze and wechat? My wechat has some colours problem after left for a long time and need to restart the app to get the colours back. As for waze, the sound has issues where i only can hear the voice of the directions only.

i dont think so. make sure you turn off Bluetooth, NFC, Location/GPS and mobile data (when not used). this 4 aspects can hog your battery. turning off X-reality can save battery too but not so much.

do you mean difference between LTE and 3G?

just the band connectivity difference, LTE version supports 4G (for faster mobile data internet), 3G is standard.

it actually can. just remember to rinse the phone with clean/tap water after soaking it with sea water to prevent salt build ups which can clog your speaker grills, making speakers less louder.

its done with Xperia Z1 and Z but i believe its practically the same.

EDIT : addon : rinsing it after exposing it to seawater to help prevent corrosion to the aluminium frame, audio jack and rubber seals.

somehow my speakers were muffled after soaking it underwater for 2 minutes and till now it isnt cured yet. i hope tomorrow it will be cured.

somehow, blowing at the speaker grills can 'cure' this problem for a second.

tomorrow will upload a 50 secs video of soaking it in pool water.

But its been 7 hours from last soak. Somehow, the speakers manage to recover by pressing the screen?

is this under Superior Auto or normal? or is it the weather at your location?
