After kitkat upgrade my sound is still the same. No difference. But one thing im curious is, why my equalizer preset will gone.

I dont think so, its still same. When im at 4.3, unplug phone from charger at 8.30pm, with an hour of internet surfing with data and game, some random wechat during work, i manage to get 58% at 8pm. On kitkat its still the same.

Yes, i did noticed that. From 7xxMB free RAM to 5xx MB.

just my personal preference. maybe you find it more battery efficient, i find it performing the same.

for me, as a previous Sony Ericsson (Sony) hater, now i choose to love Sony more than Samsung, although im a previous fan of Samsung. i want a ROM that is clean and not heavily skinned. Sony did cover up all that aspect, also with a strong body. after buying Xperia Z Ultra, im not going to change phone anymore, as this beast is so strong, enough to cover up my usage for 2 years. i will definitely look at Sony again, and best if they announce the Xperia Z2 Ultra (in the future).

I dont think so. I heard its from the bottom speaker, or the main speaker.

No way to improve the camera unless you know how to implement Z1's sensor into it.
Or learn to tweak the camera settings manually which suits your mom's taste.

Tell her, next time dont judge a phone by its appearance. User's experience is more important. Last time sony's phone camera were good but now nokia took over the position. Even the beastly phablet nokia lumia 1520 photo quality has almost the same quality as a DSLR camera, which most phablets lose at here.

Sound is a weak part of this phone. Audio output through headphones are clean and clear but loudspeaker is bad; i barely able to hear someone calling me when the phone is in my pocket, compared to the Lenovo K900 i previously owned.

Not sure about the Thorus stuff but as long the set is original, any nearest service centers can be sent for warranty except AP service centers. If you are looking for sellers, i suggest you to deal with x132755. Best price in klang valley and trustable.

i dont really believe those battery saving softwares.
and after switching to Xperia Z Ultra, my camera experience has worsen but thats not it, i still love the Xperia Z Ultra more than K900 because i can finally managed to root and install custom ROMs.

To be harsh, if you are too 'chicken' about your phone, get a case. I dropped mine recently but i still love it naked.

EDIT : or get a transparent case if you want something protective while showing off your phone's looks.

You are right. According to spec sheet, i can assume that. But the spec not bad too, snapdragon 400, 1gb ram and a decent camera, which i think will perform better than XZU.

its a bug. i did faced this issue before after doing a phone call via WeChat. i simply killed WeChat and im back to normal.

best if after update, do a factory reset.

did you saw two gold pins at the left side of your phone (when placed straight)? thats the magnetic port for the magnetic charger. the reason its charging slow because your phone identified the USB cable that clash with the standards of the original USB cable.

magnetic charger charges faster or slower, i dont know but maybe other users can to share?
