RRP is 799, new td version of hongmi which run on mtk6582 only is 699. Wcdma and cdma ver is all 799 yuan. And with that kinda price I rather get zte v5, which has 4g support, 2gb ram and 8gb rom at 999 yuan.

So Malaysia gets 1s. Better luck than Singapore.

I think this is due to the present of enhanced version of Honor 3C in Malaysia. Though 1GB ram lesser than 3C, I guess the cheaper price by RM90 (based on RMB799 China price) vs 3C, will make up for the short coming.

Honestly I rather pay slight more for the 2gb ram phone, at least less hassle and worry on background apps and multitask portion.

Here should be getting the new hongmi since its all being upgraded in china already

I'm using one now.. if you are not into extreme gaming, this model should be good enough.. but if you like gaming, then better wait for mi3s

If you are referring to hongmi, I had 1 for my dad so I roughly know how it performs. But seeing how 2gb ram phone aint actually expensive nowdays, its better to get 2gb compare to 1gb ram phone lor.

i bought my hongmi as 2nd phone.. initially use to store my extra simcard only.. but now also using it as music player.. free download of music.. n its easier too..

It depends on how you use your phone la. If you are those who like multitask, opening hell lot of browser tabs at once, then its better to opt for 2gb ram

RedMi 1s is definitely a killer in market, bring in 10k units also not enough, and quite sure it drag some Mi3 user to this RedMi 1s too as the price must be attractive.

That is because that not much competitive products in local channel only, since alot still concern with the "local warranty" issue.

Did he get u an oleophobic screen protector? He he... I use mine without sp for 2 days, then scared of scratches.. Got myself a rm4 sp from garage sales.. Poor quality, then get a glass sp, oleophobic wears off after 1 week... Haiz..

I got the clear SP from xiaomi. Belum stick lagi. Still using the default one that came with the phone. Want to call CS to complain about the Redmi name on the middle of the screen cannot go off hahahahaha
