CVT is gearbox, not the engine. You won't know the gearbox overheated unless you plug in a TCU scanner.

I just drive my car for not more than 5 minutes....is it will cause overheating?
I stop beside highway (feel dangerous) and turn off engine for 5-10minutes, restart also can't move, the warning light still on.

Send back to SC really can solve the gearbox problem? How was your car condition? After service everything alright?
*
i dn't drive FLX but plenty that drives FLX here
2 reason this happen so far
1.overheating...there are members here pushing their car till 165KM/H
2.the gearbox is new...respond from members here say it only happen ONCE...mostly around 1k mileage
after it happen once...they stop aside...wait awhile..start it back...until now never happen again

and there are a few recalls if u see a few page back
got CVT pump, clutch adaption, fuel hose, extra CVT cooling hose
all that solves the problem
if u say cannot start back....probably is ECU problem?...usually they will reset the ECU

from MR_alien

Is this what you mean overheat issue?
