Once I fill the Coffin Case with the Bullseye, Wah, Overdrive and other accessories.... then you can feel it's true weight.

Well you can leave your wah and OD at home. tongue.gif tongue.gif

No Wylde Wah??? No Wylde Overdrive??? How can I brag about complete Wylde Dominance then??? Wait..... that didn't sound right.

But honestly.... It'll be quite an interesting jam if EchoB, LedZep (please hold all Brokeback references until AFTER this posting has concluded) and me played in the same room. LedZep runs out first because the pings drives him wild (no pun intended) and then EchoB falls over and break his back trying to lift my Epi Zakk Wylde.

Oh yeah. That's true. I still need to look for an all-in-one power connector for my pedals and wah. Hopefully they'll have something like that in Bentley.

We're not going to JAM per se....... Just go there...... try out my new Epi Zakk Wylde on some Marshalls and then...... that's about it.

If you want a Jam session, we can all rent out a studio or something and spent the whole day there.

i always thought all the epi lp customs were built equally.
the only difference i see between normal epi lp customs and epi zakk are the zakk has the satin finished neck, emg-hz pickups, diff truss rod cover and of cos graphics.
body is all the same, mahagony, maple neck, rosewood fretboard.
but the epi is still not that heavy, since its about the same weight as my old SG.
the new SGs are all featherweights tho.

Nope. The regular Epi LP Custom's neck is Mahogany, wherelse the Zakk Wylde Bullseye epi is a Maple neck.

Also.... the Zakk Wylde Camo/Buzzsaw uses a Maple fretboard, wherelse the Bullseye and the Custom uses Rosewood.

hmm k i see now.
Epi LP Custom Black Beauty has mahogany necks.
Epi LP Custom Plus has maple necks, which is what i have.
tho i still wished they had the traditional gibson ebony fretboards instead of rosewood.

Then you'll have to buy a Gibson.....
It'll be interesting to see how your LP Custom Plus sounds vs my Zakk Wylde LP Custom.... Both also modified with EMG actives (right?)........

I tried the Camo, but it was much brighter compared to the bullseye..... much prefered the Bullseye tone..... but now that I have a Bullseye, wouldn't mind the Camo...... tongue.gif the GAS never ends!!!!

But really...... next priority on the list is a new amp, and then a guitar with a Floyd Rose..... will probably end up with the Dime-O-Flame Dean guitar.

get a Epi LP and have it routed for a floyd rose tongue.gif

and yea, seeing as the camo has a maple fretboard it would definitely sound brighter.
some ppl say the neck/fretboard affects the sound more than the body.
plus there are some ppl who say ebony fretboards isnt the real gibson sound.
those can go die tongue.gif

Nah..... I need another guitar besides a Les Paul...... I hear Gibson (and hopefully Epiphone to follow) will be releasing Zakk's new Flying V with Floyd Rose AND his SG Flying V signature models this year! Hoping out for those two.

The Flying V is probably an EMG equipted V with the bullseye graphics and a Floyd Rose..... while his SG Flying V is like his Muddy Bullseye Dean guitar....... the bottom starts like a V, but then morphs into the SG horns at the top...... probably with a Floyd and EMGs too.....

somehow i dont think the zakk series is coming out this yr.
cos Gibson recently announced the new Elliot Easton SG, after being in pre-production for the last few months.
that is one SG i wont mind having.
SG custom with 2 pickups, some other custom touches including a plek setup, www.plek.com one of the ultimate setups you can get.
only killer is the price, Elliot Easton said its expected to be around USD3k street price.
some dealers have said around USD4k, just have to wait for Gibson to announce the heart stopping price.

Well, I had the press release from both the Gibson camp and Zakk's camp saying that they are releasing them this year. Zakk also was interviewed in a new guitar magazine, stating what they were and also said they will be releasing it this year....... only time will tell I guess......
Just in time too probably...... can only affoard them 2 years from now! That's when I'll go back to the US!!!

and Mavik, judging from the reviews at Harmony Central HERE, it sounds like it's a good guitar.......

Price range also seems to fit with an Epiphone Les Paul Custom price...... so it should be around the same league..... For me, I'd stick to the epi..... but that's just me. I'm sure the Godin is as good (or even better) then an Epi
