QUOTE(Ahmaz @ Nov 25 2013, 02:48 PM) quite irrelevant in this thread as Nexus 5 will surely have support from custom ROM community. Why bother with Xposed when you can get the modules themselves from the "source"? of course there will be many custom rom in nexus specially. but you know, not all custom rom have the features exactly you want. some of rom just too much feature packed that impact the smoothness, some of slim rom are just too minimal. different ppl dfferent taste. there is nothing wrong or right.

I dont mind Telco take nexus5 in their package, but hoping the telco not take all the stock of nexus5 and consumer have no choice to buy from other seller.

QUOTE(vfr @ Nov 25 2013, 03:31 PM) Switching over from Nexus 4 to NEXUS 5 is awesome. Phone was switched on from 7am to 3.30pm (for weekday = 80% batt is remaining on LTE. for weekends with wifi 85% remains) Unbelievable. (Stock - not rooted) But waiting for the latest Kit Kat update patch - now on KRT16M great but what is your screen on time (SOT) usage?

is there any MOD can remove the camera icon on lockscreen? it's really 'extra' unnecessary icon shortcut.

Well, if you look at it through that perspective, I guess you're right. I was thinking given all the choices, surely one of the ROMs already available will suit your needs... but it's not bad to cherry pick your own too QUOTE(djlah @ Nov 25 2013, 04:14 PM) is there any MOD can remove the camera icon on lockscreen? it's really 'extra' unnecessary icon shortcut. Move your camera app from system folder to normal apps installation folder and you should be able to manipulate it like normal play store apps. You will most likely need root access first though.

beside famous kernel dev franco & trinity, Bricked-Kernel also very popular because of the sweep2wake & doubletap2wake. previous nexus PGM lover gonna like it, or if you're looking to reduce power button pressing usage.
