Just slightly warm, it's not roasting hot like on S4 SoCs.

I got mine yesterday. First impression is excellent. Build quality is awesome, ceramic button and matte black feels classy and the IPS Display is miles ahead of Xperia ZL. It's noticeably light too. ART really makes the phone on par with iOS in terms of responsiveness. My phone don't suffer from low volume from the speaker, it sounds good and loud but the quality isn't as good as the ZL.

ask opinion :

google release s4 google play edition, spec wise is the same as s4 lte version. and we know that if there is any update, google will also update for google play edition and it also pure android experience. if google policy only gv 18 months update to their devices, same fate will goes to play edition and nexus series also.

so, consider if, only if both price almost the sames for nexus5 / s4 lte 32gb... do you think we get a s4 lte then install with custom rom become "play edition" / supernexus = nexus 5 ? some more s4 comes with bigger battery, better camera and memory card?

S4 LTE is SD600 not SD800 if not mistaken, which is still slightly more battery hunger than SD800 and lesser powerful than it of course. But won't notice the different, where you have removable-battery on the advantage side.

Bigger battery doesn't mean good battery life, because need software part to optimize the hardware. Same goes better camera doesn't mean better photo output. But make sure you do survey how is the Google Play Edition of S4 LTE photo quality as well.

As far as I know, although GPE phones wasnt updated by Google, in fact it was updated by HTC or Samsung and pass back to Google. Just FYI.

need some opinion:
i already got the N7 2013 but 2 weeks ago, my 4 year old hp (htc) battery died. I'm currently relying on power bank to power my phone...smile.gif

Should i get the N5?
Already having the N7, won't it make the experience similar and sort of making getting a new phone less fun because you already sort of know what to expect.

On the other hand, I really enjoy using my N7.

Another question, for the white colour N5, is the material at the back of the phone exactly the same as the black i.e. soft touch plastic?

Thank you. I just managed to activate it at Celcom Bayan Baru branch. LTE activated within a minute. No SIM card change is needed (mine is nano SIM comes with iPhone 5 plan early this year).

I was told that Celcom will be charging RM10 extra per month for LTE starting next year.

Did a speedtest quickly with my Nexus 5 at the branch right after activation.

Yes, I also visit the same service center and told the same. Now free trial and charge RM10/m starting next year. no need change new Sim for LTE (just like maxis) even my very old miniSIM. just cut out and center activate LTE only.

Ermm.... Well, consistent experience should make it easier to use devices right? That's some people prefers to buy Samsung tablets while having Samsung phone.

If you really like the experience stock Android provide you, go ahead & buy Nexus 5.

Their call center customer service rep is crap. I called and was told that LTE can only be activated in 3 branches in KL.

Btw, a lot of places are covered in Penang now. But, the speed isn't impressive enough.
