QUOTE(billy_overheat @ Nov 8 2013, 09:21 AM) It's not dumb at all. The LTE's coverage in Malaysia has yet to reach a stage where it's usable especially in rural areas like the place I'm living now. I hardly get 3G/H and that's why I'm getting d820 and till the time LTE is getting a bigger coverage, only then I will buy another one. billy, which part you at by the way?

QUOTE(benny888 @ Nov 8 2013, 03:07 PM) Celcom you need a specific 4G card from them. You cannot use a 3g card unlike Maxis whose past 2 years cards are already LTE enabled. Problem is this card based on 2 months back can only be obtained from Menara Celcom Jln Semarak or Bluecube centers at Sunway, KLCC n activation is immediate. You need call Celcom to find out whether now there is any newer centers you can get this 4G card. There is no charge for changing card. I got mine from Menara Celcom. i plan to mnp my umobile to celcom also next month due to the website stated that there is 4g at setia alam and also few area in klang. will check out at setia alam blue cube their sim card is 4g ready or not..else hv to mnp at sunway already.

Qoo10 - RM1707.30 (South Korea) buyer bear all the shipping cost. 2. TechBug - RM1799 (Australia) bear all warranty cost 1 month, 2nd month onward buyer bear RM90. 3. underGr0und_8 - RM1750 (Japan) no warranty which 1 to go? liek that mesti techbug lo as it comes with 1 moth warranty.

QUOTE(djlah @ Nov 14 2013, 01:30 PM) only problem is for non-rooted user, which only rely on official OTA will    those ppl care about 18m. If you compare only rooted nexus device with among all these HTC, Sony, Samsung, etc... Nexus still is first priority for most of top dev community to develop. so again, nexus ftw yes i agree too.... as i understand mostly ppl pick nexus is more or less they ready for root / custom rom things and they know is is plain vanilla android phone without fancy fancy function. so OTA or not for them not an issue as long as they got XDA. QUOTE(andyjyneo @ Nov 14 2013, 01:32 PM) Yup, so just go for Sony or Nexus, in short. Avoid Samsung at all costs, especially with Exynos chipset, except Qualcomm. why ? i think sony about the same as samsung also when comes to version release...

QUOTE(soulseeker6187 @ Nov 14 2013, 05:13 PM) Sony is more developer friendly than Samsung coz their release their source code. So easier to make custom ROM compared to Samsung. ic...well, if sony keep doing that then i believe more and more custom rom will appear and bgs fre..this actually will attract more ppl come and buy sony device , win win i would say.

QUOTE(Ahmaz @ Nov 16 2013, 08:06 PM) Someone said one of the shops in Lowyat Plaza had N5 at a ridiculous price.. I checked the shop and they said they don't stock it yet and dunno when they'll be getting it? This was the Hotspot shop on the ground floor nowadays mostly seller already sell 16gb at 1699, i think the price will not more that over already compare a week ago where ppl are selling for around 1999 - 2099. 1699 is acceptable if they want to b early bird .

ask opinion :
google release s4 google play edition, spec wise is the same as s4 lte version. and we know that if there is any update, google will also update for google play edition and it also pure android experience. if google policy only gv 18 months update to their devices, same fate will goes to play edition and nexus series also.
so, consider if, only if both price almost the sames for nexus5 / s4 lte 32gb... do you think we get a s4 lte then install with custom rom become "play edition" / supernexus = nexus 5 ? some more s4 comes with bigger battery, better camera and memory card?
