Wow, is this optional package offer by proton?

guys

how do i know if my air filter is secured or not? (eg: how to detect abnormal sound/performance lost? need to be on high rpm?)
if i try to move the air filter element and it can't move does this count as secured?
from the 1st page guide, you can only see it if the filter is not installed, however when you install the filter it covers the 2 "hooks" so there's no way to tell if the hooks are secured properly

also does anyone know why proton/Mitsubishi (dunno who did it) cover the fuse box with masking tape?
since mine mid 2012 production car and only collect on year end 2013... the masking tape's adhesive basically degraded and fused on the plastic surface. took me a while to remove it using goo gone (from ace hardware)
