QUOTE(superjoe @ Nov 14 2013, 04:08 PM) Samsung always make us difficult to flashing rom. Hahaha. If that so no need to worry la. Dont even bother the knox counter. Flashing is most important for me. Wrong. Samsung, apart from Nexus devices, used to be extremely easy to root. They only tightened it up since Note2 and S4.Not like pure android just one click then done rooting. Note 2 had the Custom counter, but that was easily overcome. In fact Note 2 is also an easy to root device. Samsung wants a piece of the Enterprise pie, because once you get stuff certified "For Enterprise" you can charge 10x or more for the same old sh*t Compare the "ease" of rooting HTC or Sony devices, or even any of the other brands. QUOTE(BlackKiraEW @ Nov 14 2013, 04:15 PM) Read page 1, posts 8 and 9 please. Those already SUMMARIZE all rooting discussions. |

There was a time where SME dont bother if u r rooted or on custom rom . As long as it's a SME unit and the hardware stickers are not tampered with , your warranty is valid . Seems a lot of inexperienced users flash n bricked and many other things till SME changed their policy .Not like pure android just one click then done rooting. |

Many noob go flash Exynos firmware or rooting method into their G version phone and endup bricking it....lolz |

QUOTE(BlackKiraEW @ Nov 14 2013, 04:31 PM) You can get ota if you change your status to official but i HIGHLY discourage OTA if you want to remain rooted and not trip knox as OTA will install new bootloader that makes it impossible to root without tripping knox. This post has been edited by antt00: Nov 14 2013, 04:40 PM |

Try seller brotan (I don't recall his GS link) since he ensures his cables meet GCC ratings of 1800, and he's also in SS2/SS3 area.but i cant find any info about cable whether it is genuine or not since its stated 1.5m any info??? |
