i tried switching the wires around again and than I made sure no solder come in contact with each other as well. But sound still comes out fine when listening to music so i guess i,ll just leave it at that.

Hmm i guess so. Im in JB so.. haha! Lots of different types of materials and i think its just crazy how the prices can go up. Few hundered USD for an IC cable is too much.
I guess it makes sense. There has to be a limit on how much the electrons can transfer right? using pure copper is comparable to pure gold ? Maybe both will flow the same amount of electrons.
Maybe the stock cable is not as good. How about swtiching from a good custom cable to another good custom cable? Will there be differences.. ?

after much hardwork and tenacity this is my end product very extremely happy with this because it's my first time recabling a headphone wheeee!!!

Ignore the horrible braiding at the end because  it was blardy hard to solder while braided...and the heatshrink there is from when i was stripping the insulation and metal weave protecting the cables D: but all in all totally worth it

interested as well can use for RCA plugs and etc right? if it's 2 cables is there is no need to ground? Canare l4e6s is RM10/meter how much is this? sorry for noob questions xD still new

Needed a big plug to fit the cable in haha cost me RM16 a pair but at least 1 end didnt need to be terminated xD

found this picture in an earlier post im planning to recable my ms1i with l4e6s but was wondering where can I find the splitter thing in the middle for my cable, and also maybe some nice tubing to fit the ms1i?

Hi, explain something to me. I own the DR150 and Vero 150 cable. I know it improves the sound signature of the headphones, that's not the issue.

My question is about the last mile. The cable is plugged in to the left earcup, and the cable connecting to the right driver is I assume inferior to the Vero.
So why is there no discernible sonic difference between the left and right driver?

I'm not doubting anything since I know the cable works very well. Just puzzled about this.

Same thing about expensive "audiophile grade" power cables. The wiring in the house is standard throughout, it is already not "audiophile grade" yet from the wall plug to the power supply or power amp, you have "audiophile grade" cables.
This is actually the opposite of the above scenario, when improvement is made in the last mile instead of any degradations happening in the last mile.

are those cables originally in those tubings? or did you get an external one?
