As mentioned by another user earlier, they used to charge 30sen per MB. Now they're charging RM30 as soon as you switch on data roaming service in Singapore.

Seems to me that they've ended their 'promotion' without a formal announcement  shakehead.gif

I think that U may keep the off peak quota promo after 2015,or charges customers at low price
*
No, UM will offer more LTE enabled locations 2015.

Rates of Mi will increase but with extra quota

My take on Mobile Internet Plans [ voice included ] ~ sim that you use on Smart Fon [ which you can tether to laptop ]

Nowadays when new plans like Maxis One Plan , Celcom First Plan are introduced, they give you less data for higher price & if you need more data, they will charge you extra.

DG current offerings ~ Postpaid Smart Plan is considered the best because for rm50[rm5 rebate via online billing] gives you 4GB Data + 100 Mins.

Umobile on the other hand will be revising their offerings come 2015 ~ could be worst than current offerings too but UM's 3G/4G coverage is not that good, so not much impact will be felt.

Still Maxis Biz/Bes 68/99 & Legacy99 is the best around, 10GB for rm68/99. Do you guys regret in terminating it ?

Maxis 3G/4G is one of the most stable currently.

I'm interested in getting a mobile broadband plan (MB68)
Is there anyway I can get a trial/test version and see whether the area I usually go too has good coverage and speed?
*
Go buy a simpack @ Giant or Seven 11, topup rm13 to make the available credit = rm18 [ rm5{preloaded}+rm13 ] , then subscribe to UMi18 , you get 500MB + 25mins voice + 25sms, to test run.

MNP that Umobile number [ if Umobile let you down on sucky internet speed , as it always does nowadays ] into DG to entitle for rm18 for 1GB ~ DG's Mobile Internet pawn Umobile most of the time

laugh.gif laugh.gif

MNP from Umobile takes abt 5mins to get activated [ the fastest among all telcos ]

PM me if you are interested to MNP your Umobile > 1DG MNP , read my siggy bro

QUOTE(CnY Garage @ Jan 7 2015, 10:38 AM)
to be clarify, umobile 1gb is RM 28 official plan
with free 50 mins to all and 30 sms to all which worth RM 9~12

and I am not sure if digi 1gb would disappear after fail of renew of its package ? any1 able to confirm that ?

if you are not under 4g coverage, there would not be any difference in terms of speed
for 4g area, with LTE device of mifi you can reach 3mbps ~ 60++ mbps area dependent.

3g speed then always 2~3mbps with H+ , probably faster during non peak hour
confirmed ? because i couldn't find the official link for that plan now blink.gif
*
As long you dun change Plan during the subscribed period of the RM18 for 1GB, this Plan shall be renewable if sufficient credit is available during auto renewal period.

anyone experience voice call problem? when people call me or i call people, i couldnt listen to their voice. confirm not phone problem.
*
It was due to Umobile roaming on Maxis 3G Voice radio , port out to other telcos to solve this cause your area have integration problems between Maxis & Umobile . icon_idea.gif

if the location show maxis 4g , will umobile also show 4g signal ?
*
Roaming on Maxis radio only on GSM voice + 3G Data, no LTE/4G data and it sucks.

I don't think Maxis give Umobile roaming 3G data, Maxis only granted GSM data to Umobile

Advice: do not use Umobile outstation with goggle maps apps, GSM data. Goggle maps apps on your phone wouldn't works on GSM Data, and some others apps.
*
It depends, location like Melaka/Kedah/Kelantan that do not have Umobile tower will given permission to roam on Maxis 3G data + GSM voice, while area like the Klang Valley , no 3G data roaming is allow cause UM tower existed there, so only roaming on Maxis GSM voice.

Correct me if i erred

Well to me 1.5gb is a very good change for me as i always used up 1gb around 27 days average.

Just feel sad that there is no sms free and lower call time.  I guess  it is all about give and take.
*
The 30min free calls are valid for 24hrs now.
