Has anyone used Sony HT-CT800 soundbar before? May i know what's the review?

I'm looking at this soundbar to connect to my Pana LED TV particularly HDMI ARC. Will this cause complication in connectivity due to brand difference?

So far i only see the cheapest price of RM1499 in Lazada. Any place with better pricing?

No prob with HDMI ARC passthrough with branding. If you do get Sony soundbar do leave us review on the woofer fan. As i heard alot of complain on the fan being too loud during normal usage.

Hi, im looking for a good soundbar with great deep bass. Mainly for movie and gaming. Music not so much.i went to harman kardon at midvalley at saw this harman kardon sb20 which priced at rm1999 something. I like the bass from it. I went to the other side and tried the jbl sound bars, only the top end which cost rm3k plus satisfies my ears, lol. I plan to go to other shops like harvey norman to try some other speakers. Any other suggestion for sub rm2k range of soundbars with nice bass, i know my budget is limited, but we all try our best to fit in according to our budget right? Thanks a lot

I went there 2 days ago. Promo 1399, planning to grab it + wireless satellite for 5.1, the seller said RM300 per satellite, not too sure what model. I check online ZR-5 RM600+ each. I'll go again tmrow and see the model of satellite speaker and update here.

I'm using Philip Fidelio B5 sound bar cause i dont feel like having cables around the floor

The B5 to me produces great 5.1 effect - when u take out the side speakers. Go test it in any Harvey Norman
*
same as u, i dont like wires and complicated connection. i setup all my media station in my small room. im currently using fidelio b1 connected to pc,ps4 and xb1 simultaneously via hdmi arc. surround sound work perfectly in dts audio, only bass is kinda overpower.

Mind to share which one u pick between this both? Or anyone can share opinion on this?

Samsung has higher output... but somestimes higher output does not 100% assure better output too right? hmm.gif

Hi, im using samsung hwk 551 paired with rear wireless speaker. I read that the soundbar has licence from dolby 5.1 and dts 2.0 only.my question is, can my soundbar play surround audio from dts 5.1 sourced.

Anyone can explain what is dolby digital, pro logic, dts hd, dts master and all these terms. Is my soundbar able to all those types. Tq

The Samsung ms650 and the new ms750 are getting very good reviews on websites, anyone use these? Any thoughts on whether they are as good as they say? I need three, two for bedrooms and one for living room, Thanks !
