Hi guys,

I am looking for a soundbar namely to replace the TV speaker.
I am looking at the 3.1 system because I am a bit hard of hearing (worked in high noise area, improper use of earplug  )

I went and try out the soundbars at BD, Sony and I do notice 3.1 gives better voice clarity compared to 2.1
I do find 5.1 is a bit of an overkill for a soundbar, considering my budget is only 1.5k.

So, the ones I've tested is

Samsung HW-K551
Sonos Playbar
Sony HT-CT-390

Saw some 3.1 system from Panasonic but did not audit yet.

If there are any better ones, please advice.

I'm looking for a soundbar or system for the new living room for a 65" tv. I did some checking and came across vizio 3851-D0 really interesting and the price from 11street.my seems 1.5k + 255 shipping cost.

Any one come across this in Malaysia? Or is there any altanative system that cost around that price ?

Can recommend some decent soundbar for me.. my budget is only 1.5k below.

I tried a few 2.1 model but seems doing more worst than my current mini hi-fi

I want it mainly for movies, music not really.

I been eyeing with below 3, but not sure about the sound haven't got chance to try it:

Btw, I did tested with philips fidelio b1. It is compact and sound goods to me, just that when I tested with a 320kbps music, it seems abit dull. Not sure is it due to the place they put tje soundbar, doesn't able to test properly or not.

geez, i went to tried out LG SH7,SJ6 ( what's the different of SH & SJ ? ) as well as samsung HW-K551 & J551.

I can't tell the different.  ><

I eyeing this spec before but its audio output total only 180 Watts. Kind of low watts for me.

i tested already. good clarity and built quality.

but no subwoofer really no ohmmmp for movie.

I saw Samsung HW-K350 now on sale in Lazada, <RM350.
Is it a good buy?

My TV speakers are very unsatisfactory but I live in an apartment and with kids. Not sure I can blast the sound much or often at all. Should I buy?

Need some recommendation for a soundbar.

I just bought a Samsung 55"MU6100 TV, and its speakers simply cannot make it. Thus I'm looking for a soundbar.

Some questions:

1. Would it be easier to pair a Samsung soundbar to this TV, as compared to other brands?

2. Does a soundbar need to be connected to a TV via wire/cable (HDMI, Optical and other types), or can we pair them up wirelessly (BT, Wifi or others). If it is paired by wirelessly, does it affect the sound quality?

3. I'm only using this TV for watching Astro, TV box and youtube. How good a soundbar should I get?

4. Is it realistic for me to put my budget as RM1000 for this?

yes. especially the "game" sound mode.

1 for astro, 1 for media player

music wise unker still need to play with record, no bluetooth connection for unker, old liao must need more details when hearing
