Still though of using the plastic came with the iPad for a while first only get a case. Guess that will go look for a case for it soon

I accidentally droo my ipad mini last night from around 30cm height . The smart case didnt belp at all .

My preferences would be, tough(especially to the sides), slim or not too bulky like otter box, and smart cover function is still available. And if can stand is an extra . Hopefully the design would be nice aswell and not too plastic feel.. Oh and i already have glass sp casing must fit in with glass sp.

Even back case alone doesn't offers much protection. Unless u r planning to use those bulky type...

I couldn't agree with you more. What I said though is back casing offers more protection than skins. And I already have Flip/Book Casings.

I'm currently using moshi versacover with the back of my iPad mini protected with xtremeguard clear sp. Looking for a nice sleeve now so I can use it without casings.. Oh n my front I'm using genuine Corning gorilla glass sp for it..
