Just to share, my banker told me that cancel RHB LO penalty charges is 1% of loan amount. Cancel PBB LO penalty charges is RM2k fix amount.

not really, it was actually stated in the LO that charges will be imposed if you were to cancel upon signing the LO.

i bet the SA said otherwise cause he can't give me a good answer when i questioned him on the clause that stated charges will be imposed once LO is signed.

Normally there is a penalty clause in LO and depends on how strict the individual banker to impose.

Demo and rejecting new development is becoming a norm nowadays. Build MRT, LRT, highway, office tower, highrise condo next to any taman and see people protesting. Protest in forum, in newspaper..etc. But still get built at the end of the day. Numb already. Your friend would get better result with his pancing ikan than to protest.

i think the demo is to make ct to repair damage road.

not very sure how it will affected to ct pulishicity. Maybe worst come to worst temporary stop work at site for a week?

But if ct is responsiple developer should repair the road la. Afterall they have live there for > 10 y already.
