got letter from OCBC giving me offer to change my titanium to world mastercard giving 1.2% rebate , RM50 rebate and 1st year annual fee waived, good deal?

Thinking the 1.2% apply to all expenses or only retail? How about online purchase? Installment, auto-bill?
Any idea?

i thought old OCBC Titanium is still having 5% for petrol, utilities and 1% for others and capped at RM50 a month?

I already call to cancel this OCBC card. If 1%, I will stick to my Hong Leong Essential Visa. Unlimited 1%. No AF. Call to waive for tax. I swipe about 2k per annum and entitled for RM50 waive but need to call in few months early to check.

I see, I have no received any separate letter, is this letter send for certain card holder or will send for all? Will just wait and see then

Ahh I see, that makes sense then, but the calculations still are wrong though, all my transactions are before the 29th.

and yet, there's still a substantial amount of 1% cashback on a few transactions I suspect are between the 27th to 29th. But the cash back amounts really are depressing though lol

I only got offered to add on a 2nd card, which is ocbc platinum MC... didnt get the offer for upgrade to ocbc worldmastercard. a lil offended i guess i didnt spend much previously on this card always keep it ngam2 1k

So...the 5% SMS alert that I got...it's applicable for payment using either savings account or credit card as long as it's done online, yes?

guess alot of ppl complain and cancel their cards after it was reverted to 1% 

this might be their stop gap measure before they can come out with a new plan (if any) 

This would normally be those savings plans / investment linked.  If you buy for yourself and your kids, typically between RM300 to RM500 per person, hitting RM1,500 to RM1,600 is not difficult to achieve
