QUOTE(kuntakinte @ Dec 14 2013, 06:25 PM) To me, the choice between the ipad air or mini is quite clear. Ipad air because I'm already using a note 3 thus the screen real estate of the ipad air makes certain productivity related work and magazine viewing much easier. Maxis package good now? Also, between the 4g and wifi only versions, I'll take the 4g versions especially since Maxis is having such a good package now. I'm using an ipad 3 wifi version now but at times, when I'm mobile, it doesn't beat the convenience of just whipping it out and working immediately than having to tether data via a phone. I've considered getting the wifi version and pair it with a yes huddle and just subscribe for pay as you use data but seriously, the rebate given by Maxis makes this net savings negligible compared with the value especially intangible benefits mind to share to link?tq |

QUOTE(NasiLemakMan @ Dec 14 2013, 04:10 PM) I know. I would go with mini but some of the nonesential apps I used are not compatible with mini. I just want to know if the extra rm330 is really worth it on the ipad air. Hi bro, I think it's a better idea to choose your iPad base on your usage, because the long term experience is what matters, you wanna enjoy using it. What I'm saying is that I can tell you the price difference, how much $$ per inch, screen real estate (same), specs (same), etc.Is the colours difference really significance for pictures, vids? Is the Air more durable? OR everything is null and the extra rm3++ is just for the extra 1.8"? At the end of the day, your experience with that device is what matters, so the question you should ask is not wether it's worth that extra money. Are you using it for traveling ? What will you mainly do on your ipad ? Games ? Movies ? Will you be taking it wherever you go ? Will you utilize your ipad for your work or just casual ? Then choose your ipad base on those questions. Because the Air and Mini Retina has exact same specs so no need to worry unlike previous Mini (iPad 2 specs) and ipad 4 which is understandable for people who compare specs because they are far apart in performance. Apple's latest iPad line-up justifies the Mini's tag line "Every inch an iPad". No worry about apps compatibility anymore. Hope this helps This post has been edited by ecosean: Dec 15 2013, 03:29 AM |

QUOTE(powerstar @ Dec 14 2013, 11:21 PM) Guys, buying at local reseller better or in online store? In term of warranty when I found of dead pixel or yellow tint. If I buy at online store how? Just give them a call tell them the problem and send back? If you purchase from Online Store, you may change it if you find any dead pixel, yellow tint or whatever that is considered as defect. They will give you a totally brand new one. But this is only for the first two weeks after receiving the device.I bought my 5S from Online Store and got them to replace two 5S for me since the first one had dead pixel and second one had yellow discoloration on top screen. My second new replacement is Regarding the Local Reseller, I'm not quite sure. From what I experience last them when purchasing the iPad 3 is you may check the device on the spot, and if you find any starches, dead pixel etc you can request a new set on the spot. But I'm not sure whether the 14 days return policy applies to the Local Reseller or not. |

QUOTE(shiang1011 @ Dec 15 2013, 12:01 PM) You will need to call Apple and tell them your problem. They will then redirect you to one of the technical support team to confirm its a defect.Upon confirmation, they will transfer your call to the sales team for a new replacement or full refund. Normally, you will need to return your iPad to Apple before they send out the new device (DHL will call you for pickup arrangement from your house). The duration for them send out a new device is less or within a week (you will be set on a high priority). For me, my iPhone was returned after I got my replacement set as I told them I had no phone to use if I returned this. They were fine with it I will always purchase my Apple stuff from Apple Online Store because of this advantage. I dont even care if anyone else is selling it for a cheaper price or whatever This post has been edited by bizness: Dec 15 2013, 12:20 PM |

Have you tried to go back and ask for a new replacement?Yesterday I went to KLCC Machines. My god, the crowd there was like night market. Believe it or not, for me to buy a SP for my 5S took me 30min+ to queue for payment and wait for their staff to install. Never buy any Apple products when crowded as everything sure will be rushing one and you wont have time to check properly etc. I hate to rush when buying any product! |
