if they asked me y i wan to buy new driver then i wud say "i wanna continue using my HD650" ?
if they ask me why i want bak the old faulty driver then i would say for memory sake... since it is "mine"
the same guy keep buying drivers ? isn't it suspicious ? I am just gonna buy once for myself, owner of the faulty HD650 drivers gonna make another trip down to SG himself...
this might be another loophole of Sennheiser waiting for ppl to explore and this is another case of "Tak cuba, tak tahu. Dah cuba, lagi mahu". I also won't even "rugi" since i am going down to SG soon, if cannot buy also nvm, i just use back my old HD580.
please advice
anyone got faulty HD650 drivers ?

like handphone.
even though u spend money to get it repaired. they have the right to take back all the faulty parts.
i not pretty sure how the condition it is.
but it happen to my friend notebook battery. she paid for it for replacement (of course cheaper than usual price)
then, the faulty parts. the have the right to take it back. as said by the customer service guy.
u think they will accept reason of "memory sake" and they let u go away with 2 of their driver at cheap price?

source : http://www.sennheiser.com/sennheiser/home_...anty-conditionsof course u might argue. that the HD650 driver purchase is not warrenty claim. but i think they some how treated it as warrenty claim. just over the date within 2 year. u have to pay for it.
previously
sennheiser does sell driver
that's the time i trying to buy the driver and assemble my own HD650 too
my friend
actually got his hand on sennheiser HE60 driver. and that's what i posted previously in thread i diy ksc75 voice coil operation.
but . soon. they realise in headfi ppl hype aobut buying driver to assemble their headphone. that's why they remove it from the sites of online purchase. and they getting more and more troublesome in selling those parts.
one of my close friend has HD580 headband broken.. he spend really long time to argue with sennheiser SG about to get a replacement.
though in the end he successfully get it. but it really involve a lot of work. rather than just u walk in and tell them ur sennheiser needs parts, and they let u walk away with it after u paid.
i not sure how about other deals and driver.
but as my memory recall
never has friend so easy to get the spare parts as claim over internet.
if can get. no harm
i wanna get 1 pair oso. DIY my own headphone.
