QUOTE(AlamakLor @ Oct 13 2006, 03:31 AM) lol, cmon..it doesnt literally take age into account...it can be replaced by experience LoL kinda true. I'll probably avoid the HD600 since all the comments were about how laid back they areEDIT: Our avatar is contrasting each other....cat vs dog...I bet Kiljim doesnt like what i like But Dire Straits - On The Night was awesome, i think we both agree on that Btw, cats > dogs QUOTE(LittleGhost @ Oct 13 2006, 08:39 AM) Ah okay, it makes sense then |

Just kidding... Cat vs dog, this will be a war between 650 and 600 again? But reading the reviews I would prefer 650 more, sorry la Alamaklor.
Btw, how u know my age... I am already a working group in this society after graduate. |

hehe whatever float your boat
EDIT: On the night is a very good album, no doubt about that. But everytime I listen to "you and your friend" on my 701...I'm just not getting that same feeling I got from the W5k. The 701 is just not transparent enough to make me feel like im at the concert. Some albums with W5k sounds truely amazing, but many other albums sound wierd with that AT mid range coloration. Well the HD6XX debate has been here for so long. I've just put it in the "depends on what you listen to" box. I'm a classical nut, so i guess the 650's futher darkness and slower enveloping sound do my loves justice lol.
If you can't get it 100 percent accurate, just get what reproduces the music you love the most accurately as i say. |

LOL I heard the grados and HD555 at the same time, really impressive sound production with their burned in 3 years SR60. Simon said that SR60 is easier to drive then HD650 and it may sound worst if wrongly amplified. The SR325i is also very amazed me. It makes me wanted to buy one directly (but they only had SR80 on hand). HD555 is very very "not my type", I just dunno how will HD650 and HD600 do.

you like the sr60 over the 555? you probably wont like the senns at all, nor the k701....I'd recommend that you just get some higher end grado.
The 555 is overall much superior to the sr60, sr125, and pretty much on par with sr225 imho, of course...in a different flavor |

Yeah, the price is almost the same between 555 and 225. Anyhow, I really don't like the staff's attitude at mediaplex, this may affect my 'mood' to audition musics.
