Just like you, I want to ensure that the merchant's MCC is the correct MCC that entitles us to cashback.

Ok, as you said, some issuer banks (our bank that issues credit card to us) are not transparent in revealing the MCC. Thus, if we contact the issuer banks, their customer support may not inform us the MCC.

Can we ask the merchant's bank instead to know the merchant's MCC? We are not asking for something confidential, like merchant's account number, so it should be okay, right?

If our CC not being used for 1 yr or 2 yrs, will the credit limit automatically decrease?

It is possible to arrange payment automatically for MBB Acct -> MBB Cards. This is done via eSI instructions in M2U.

To note that the eSI system will ask for a value that you wish to transfer on a regular basis/according to the period that you desire. Therefore it is impossible to arrange for full payment.

This is helpful for folks who want to arrange payment for a preset amount every month. Technically it will help to avoid late payment charges but if the bill is not paid in full, do note that the bank will charge you interest.

I have a question on Maybank 2 Cards. I have not call up the bank to ask but thought I check here first for user experience before calling them in case they turn me down. I have an existing Maybank credit card but a friend told me that she has this Maybank 2 Cards and she said when making a purchase, it gets 4x points. 

If I want to sign up for this Maybank 2 Cards and cancel the current card, do you think I can transfer my existing points? Anyone ever tried doing this before?

As per normal application, around 2-3 weeks.

Actually it is just like a normal application, you just attach your FD on top of your application. And of course, you have to apply at your FD acct home branch and a experienced financial executive to work out the formalities. After you apply, wait for the offer letter to arrive. After you return the offer letter to MBB, you will get your card in 3-4 days.
