hi i didnt own psp but interested of getting one ,but i just would like to know about the new version of psp is unable to play pirfate umd disc rite ,?then how because one original game is too expansive any suggestion ?

There is no Pirated UMD disc...Kudos to Sony for such a strong security medium, physically i mean...

Option 1 :
Psp ver 2.7 ( able to play homebrew , which he demonstrated to me ) value pack
+ 2 *ahem* dvd disc with games that i can choose and he will upload for me
no warranty
= RM 1080

Option 2
Psp ver 2.0 value pack
1 year warranty
= RM 980 + RM50 demo disc (which he said is needed to play*ahem* games)
= RM1030

need help choosing , which should i get ?
planning to get it next week

Printed material
Selling RM699 ..

Consider the price is okay or maybe is not worth it ??

this price i think its a bargain. 1.5 standard pack for 700.
better get warranty just incase. "no, they will not replace for dead pixels"
better check one before u buy. be sure to apply screen protector
adds about rm30-45.

tht's too expensive....value pack with 2.8 version shldn't more than 900.

i think i would choose the 2.7 firmware because it is not as troublesome as the 2.0 one ( demo disc thingy ) and also because the dealer who sells the 2.7 seems honest and knows more things bout the psp if compared to the other one which (i think) tried to con me .
cause at first i asked his worker wats the price he told me it is RM 930 but then the boss came and say 980 then need to plus the rm 50 demo disc
ohh yeah i left out 1 thing both option i mentioned has a 2gb memory stick

if you're lazy to download or learn about the 'ahem' stuff. get the 1st choice.
if you like challenges, and would like to explore the PSP world so that you'll actually understand each stuff 'deeper', get the 2nd choice.

anyway most ahem dvd sold right now are old games, if you want the latest game, you can download it for free~ lalala

psp 2.71 able to play #### game oso need UMD inside the PSP.. it is official firmware 2.71, not the 2.71 SE A/B/C..unless it is..

however, no umd arent compatible with all games..so most of us here dun really mind to insert an UMD in the psp.

personally i would adivise to u get the 2.0, coz u can downgrade to 1.5, if u need help one that..i can help you..

1.5 definitely supports more things than 2.71,
is 2.71, not 2.71 SE A/B/C ..

erm i'm not too sure which 2.71 tat is but when he open the psp's umd case for me to see there was nothing in there and what's the different between all those abc

No umd inside can run "jack sparrow" game...tat must be 2.71 se A/B/C ..it is a custom firmware upgraded, or should i say modified from firmware 1.5..

it is made by a psp elite,homebrew developer,and of coz, psp hacker, - DarK_AleX..google his name..u will be surprise of the results..

A,B,C are the versions, C is the lastest..

so bascially ..both offers have the same version..

just get the 2.0 version...from 2.0, u can go 1.5, or 2.71 SE A/B/C..since it has warranty..although the warranty seems useless..but y no warranty for the 2.71 SE psp ?? something fishy..

i am also worried bout that
but he says there is warranty for stuff such as the d pad
(he said sumting bout bricking)
but y does the 2.0 require a demo disc to play on
does the 1.5 require the same way to play the game
by the way can i "reformat" the psp ? i mean jus in case like bricking happens
