Hold your horses first... from my information, all stocked 2.5 and 2.6 PSP (including mine) are using TA-082 motherboard which means that you CANNOT downgrade it. 

So... we are still out from 1.5....

conclusion: 1.5 lebih boleh than 2.71

So far there is no posibility to play homebrew (this includes mounting ISO's) on a 2.80 n above. Although i did hear that DA is working on it. But then, u gotta wait 4 it..

I heard that Sony is gonna implement an Emu to play PS1 games on PSP. Is this true. I heard that its gonna be on FW 3.0.

I'm in dilemma now    whether to choose ver 2.71 or 1.5. Price ~ $200 different.
Many shopkeeper told me ver 2.71 oso can play * ahem * games, some need UMD some no need, izit true ? Than wat for all ppl rushing to get 1.5 lei ? Dont' get it la.

edit : even if you read instruction over and over and over many times again, you will go wrong with your psp. sometimes is your flash f0 too many things, like last time i did, i dont know why, maybe i run henc many times. then i try install seb and . BRICKED!! now waiting to send to shop to be fix

Giga pack i din manage to ask cos no stock there.

And the shop here doesnt sell TA082 mobo PSP.

TA082 is new mobo where u cannot downgrade below 2.5 and cannot flash custom firmware. Which means u cannot play ahem games or run home brew. Fine if u wanna run ori games. Plus it's cheaper.

Non TA082 can downgrade to 1.5 to run homebrew and ahem.... 

But pls dun ask me to buy la....

home brew meaning like say software made other thn sony people? how about the internet explorer? can i run that on the new mobo?? how to tell which mobo is on it thn?

TA-082 Is not really a nwe mobo that you can't downgrade.  have you since TA-086 yet ?

indeed it can't be downgrade to Version 1.50 but it can downgrade 2.5. and who said TA-082 cannot paly homebrew ?

How much is it worth to sell the first batch black PSP firmware 1.5 these days? Made in Japan of course.

not much value alreay since version 1.50 are everywhere~~ and there is no different comparing the first batch and the batch currently now..

unless you want to compare the brand inside of the psp screen.
