Just bought PSP version 2.6 from Sg Wang for RM600/-. Comes only with battery and charger. Is this a good deal?

yeah about there sounds right, provided the unit is like brand new. check for the dead/stuck pixels. However it may come up more over time. I had one light red stuck pixel after 2 days of purchase

But it's not detectable until I actually go and make myself look for it.

how much exactly a different of gigapack if i am buying it from sonysttyle ? they just sold it for rm 13++ there right?i really need that warranty. almost all thing in my pocket will drop mysteriously. ahhhh i thinkl i must buy one from sony stlye, kat shah alam ade tak?

IINM Ver 1.5 PSP (Value Pack) is about RM 1200. It's hard to find ver 2.0 PSP (most of the shops already downgraded them to ver 1.5).

The latest version is ver 2.6. Value pack for ver 2.6 are selling for around RM 750 (some forumer here claim can get as low as RM 700).

Some people will buy ver 1.5 PSP to play illegal games. But for me, rather than paying extra RM 500 to the shopkeeper, I'll buy PSP ver 2.6 and I can use that extra RM 500 to buy 3 games or 2 game + 1 GB memory stick.

I think it'll be cheaper if you buy 2.6 Value Pack (RM 700) + 1 ori Sandisk 1GB Memory Stick (RM 195) compared to a Giga Pack (RM 1050 - RM 1300 depending on place).

No matter which version you choose, you can play any game as the games are region free. But there are region restriction on UMD Movie. Japanese PSP (Region 2), can only play Japanese UMD Movie (Region 2).
