Both my Poetic and Niilkin flipcase even with WiFI not available will still works perfectly waking and closing the display. And my WiFi is always set on as I am not like some users who worry so much about battery drain that they off it when not in use.
There are some users who said WiFi will affect the wake/close effect but I absolutely don't agree with them about this

whatsapp's wakelock is minimal, but facebook on the other hand have frequent wakelocks. if you really need to use the facebook app i suggest using greenify to hibernate the app while in background. then you will not get any facebook wakelock while not using the app.

Hi, I use Carbon Rom atm , i found this rom update very frequent. i use goo manager to download latest version of carbon rom , if i flash new version carbon to replace old version carbon rom , does my installed apps got wipe out?

if you are updating from carbon rom itself, your installed apps wont get wipe out. unless you specifically perform a factory reset. in which everything will be wipe clean except for internal storage.

you dont have to download their updates everyday, what i do is i update twice a week or maybe even once a week.

Yes just install a compatible dialler app from Google Play Store so you can reload and use USSD.

any nice apps to view pdf files and excel files etc? because when i view the pfd files of asus for oct & nov, it will to wait 5 secs like that to wait it comes out (the pfd files were downloaded) or is this normal?
