im on PSX rom v8 last week and it is buggy, chrome always crashes and it is a known issue at xda. i suggest you switch to carbon rom atm. i find it the most stable without issues. even PA rom also crashes at times.

dont need wipe anything when you are flashing kernel.

If you want to access the same menu, you must reflash the kernel

maxis obviously have the widest coverage for LTE just in case sometimes you wander away from cyber

whatsapp's wakelock is minimal, but facebook on the other hand have frequent wakelocks. if you really need to use the facebook app i suggest using greenify to hibernate the app while in background. then you will not get any facebook wakelock while not using the app.

if you are updating from carbon rom itself, your installed apps wont get wipe out. unless you specifically perform a factory reset. in which everything will be wipe clean except for internal storage.

you dont have to download their updates everyday, what i do is i update twice a week or maybe even once a week.

quickoffice is good, especially it integrates nicely with google drive

gsam battery also doesnt work on 4.4

im on psx kitkat v1 too. super duper smooth as well.
