Asus products come with international warranty, it can be applied if your unit is from other countries in Malaysia, Nexus 5 doesn't have international warranty, so you got to stick to origin country where you purchase the unit from.

No dialpal, you need to flash a zip from XDA in order to SMS in KitKat.

For whatsapp, no, just download the apk from whatsapp.com and install it.

To SMS in stock 4.4, you need to flash a zip from XDA in order to enable SMS function.

Why not dare? Unlocking bootloader and rooting nexus is very easy, just single click and the toolkit will do the rest for you, when you want to send for warranty, single click again and you are unrooted and have your bootloader locked.

COC is Clash of Clan?

Clash of Clan uses up battery juice at a very fast rate, same goes to the another games from the same developer, Hay Day, it doesn't trigger much wakelock when your tablet is in idle, but once you play the games, it is like using up all your processor and gpu power, causing battery to fall very quickly

Tried last time, it didn't work. You need Slimport adapter to mirror your screen to TV.

There is an update for LTE model which brings full compatibility to Verizon 4G LTE network with new radio and new build number (KVT49L), not sure if it will be rolled out to all LTE model including those outside of USA though.

1. Yes, you need to download from their official site, remember to enable 'Unknown sources" in Settings > Security so you can install apk outside of Google Play Store.
2. Normal mobile phone accessories shop should have them or those mini stall in most of the shopping centers.
3. File explorer is a must for Android so you can explore the content in your tablet. If you are a rooted user, you can install Xposed framework and do lots of tweaks, blocking annoying ads in your browser and Youtube videos, processor control etc.
