Oh.
They supposed to give me smart tag with TnG RM50, but they wrongly sms me the Expedia voucher instead. They admit is their confusion of free gift so they will send me the correct free gift (which is smarttag+TnG RM50).

But they do not mention that the expedia voucher will be void or not (since i got the voucher code).
*

But I think Expedia voucher is worth more than smart tag + tng

The T&C Mention that got to follow Dining MCC  to qualifies for Cash-Back, if You spend on the Restaurants which are Not Registered Under Dining MCC will NOT eligible to get CB...  sweat.gif

Merchant Category Code (MCC) Dining: 3510 – 3999, 7011, 5812 -5814, 5841, 5921, 7011

* The spend under the“Dining Merchant Category Code” (“MCC codes”) as listed in Table C below after he/ she registered with the Bank (Qualified Transactions”) is eligible for CashBack.

My Dining CashBack Campaign T&C
*
If really check on the MCC, 3510-4999 and 7011 is actually classified under Hotel instead of dining.

My 2nd last transaction was 17 June and last on 23 June. Mine was a combination of multiple transactions. If the last fulfilling transaction on 23 June was not eligible, I wouldn't  have received the full rebate.

Perhaps you can try and email them to file a dispute?  hmm.gif
*
Ya, I will file a dispute, but the bank still yet to advise me on the MCC of my transaction. So, u receive RM100 and all your other multiple transaction added up won't tied with the cashback received? Or do u do any hotel transaction like rdevil33

QUOTE(rdevil33 @ Aug 16 2016, 09:43 AM)
Received mine also! biggrin.gif
Didn't expect it as I did not spend any dining during Jun.
But after checking it is from Genting hotel booking website.
Surprised hotel booking also entitle for CB!
Anyone receive CB other than dining?

By the way, I feel strange why the CB is credited into my Just One Cash Back Card
instead of CB MasterCard which I used for Genting hotel booking.
Can I request to transfer to CB MasterCard?
*
May I know when is ur transaction performed?
N as mentioned earlier, the eligible mcc code in fact mostly r hotel mcc..

I see...this is good to know. I suppose this type of hotel booking is over the counter with physical swipe, and not online bookings like Agoda, Expedia etc?
*
The MCC is hotel MCC. So I believe it is hotel website booking or over the counter instead of booking via agent such as agoda..

By the way, for standard chartered cashback gold, anyone know the cashback quota is refreshed on monthly or by your statement date?
*
Calendar month

A month is defined as the period which runs from the first day of a particular calendar month to the last day of that calendar month. Retail purchases must be posted to your account within a particular month to be included towards meeting the minimum of RM500 per month in retail purchases. If a transaction is posted in the following month, it will only be included in the following month’s calculation. Please note that transactions may be posted by the merchant as late as 30 days after the transaction date.

What does this mean? Does it mean I'm charged 1% more on top of the prevailing bank forex rate?
*
Cross border fee is when u pay in RM, but the merchant is not Malaysia registered co.. Then u will c extra 1% from the MYR amount that u paid

Has anyone applied for and received the SCB cards recently?

They called me on Monday to say that mine has already been approved. However, it's now Friday and nothing has arrived. Do they normally send via Pos Laju or normal post?
