i tell him my boss is asking me why the seller did't refund the money since the problems exist? , I told him if he got another 20GB HDD just send me again and i will send back that faulty HDD to him , But he say 20GB habis already , 80 GB la ... i reply cannot becos my boss only need 20GB . So , he agree to refund to me ASAP.


I have called him many times but no ppl answer the phone ,finaly 5/6/2006 he answer my call and he answer : "sorry for nobody answer, i now at hospital , suspected penyakit nyamuk" ("denggi"i donno how to spell")"will be bank in in this 2 days" And i agreed....

Yesterday 7/6/2006 , i have call him 3 times , 2 times nobody answer , and 3rd time got ppl answer , and say "Sorry ya , tuan ni dah keluar... call back nanti la... ok?" i said "ok"

Today 8/6/2006 7.34Pm , just now i called him , i said , "so ... when i can post back the HDD to you and you bank in the fund for me ?" he say: "Ok la ... i will bank in to you in few days....., i reply : "what??? cannot ler ... my boss bising already , 2 week ++ and never get anything , can u bank in tomorrow?" he reply : "Ok , Confirm you later"



I open tread here not becos i want to make Pokju shy , but i hope him can keep the promise next time when trade with ppl , Pokju is facing me , but not facing directly to my boss , so get scolded was me...

I hope Mr.pokju can solve my problem ASAP and i will close this tread.

just called him , and get the answer: "will bank in this fewsday la ... i cannot give u an exactly date , becos the money is not at me now , i will ask the supplier" , and i reply cannot ler , 2 week already and he reply k ,ok la . .... ok, ok , ok ....

I think was no hope for refund ..... and i will not called him anymore ... RM70 i will pay to my boss ...

I can't agree on what you have claimed. Pokju deal with the thread starter. Pokju has responsibility in payment if anything happens regardless of whether the money is with pokju or with his supplier.

He has to return the money to the buyer first and then claim from his supplier.

Just like you send an item to claim warranty , that company promise you can take after 2 week , then when u go take after 2 week , he promise again another 2 week to him , and same case about 2~3 times + the phone number is always busy line,wasting your time , your mobile phone credit. So what your feel ?

And he also say that "when i bank-in, just post the faulty HDD" , And he got no 20GB HDD also . He not keeping his promise and what should i do ? he not bank-in to me , how i send the faulty HDD to him ? how to solve the problems? just seat and waitng ?

So, as far as I'm concerned, the problem is within his supplier. Just wait till he get back, this kinda illness is not something to joke around.

P/s: I thought you were the one who bising2 your HDD didn't arrive on the 2nd day after you banked in (and he poslaju it after 3Pm, obviously it'd take 2 days to arrive)? Did the poslaju arrived on the 3rd day? And because of that you accused him as a conman, no?

To clear things up, no he didn't pick the phone. It was one of his relative called me back, and passed to him.. And he said to me, he'll his ass up here ASAP.

Well, we should listen to both parties. So you guys think once you had a complain from anyone, those "tags" should be removed immediately? Ah, come on! Let him speak up for himself first, and if found guilty, by all means take that freaking tags away.

Just something to add on, the problem is within his supplier as he said. So he would either refund or give a used 20GB or something. Anyway, have you explained to your boss or something. Its not he's trying to con or what so ever. Yes, he has friends, but then in that kinda situation, what ever critical comes first.

P/s: You have to bear with this kinda situation if you trade online. Things sometimes wouldn't go as smooth as you think. I think, nowadays newbies kinda freaked out if things gone not as expected. Its a good thing to be alert, but the down is, something like this. Item arrived a day late = conman? Oh, you didn't say he's a conman, but accusing? Duh..

hmm.... starting with the deal...

1. he called me one day
2. i answered, chat and blablabla.... that was around 2.40 pm i believe... he asked wanna buy a lot of hdd, i said i just had 3 left, 2 wd, 1 maxtor
3. he said wanna poslaju, i asked him back is it he trust the poslaju guy? he said dun worry blablabla, the guy wont campak the package easily... so we chat till he agreed to bank in the money, and i posted the package of 3 hdd...
4. called @ around 2.40pm, and then urgently want me to post the hdd ASAP (where, i need to confirm payment first, A.K.A the money is in the bank)...
5. around 3.30pm i get a payment confirmation, and rushed to the nearest poslaju @ s.alam to post the hdd

-here's a fact: poslaju wont deliver the item after 3.30 pm, it'll consider next day delivery, unless u send them the package before 9 am.... that's what i learn with poslaju guy....

6. he's in negeri sembilan (mr lai here).... so poslaju will take 2 days, so i believe the next day the package wont arrive....

-the thing is > the next day after delivery, he aledi sms me and said im an a CONMAN... wt....???

-u called me many times, and i did answer u.... no?

POSSIBLE CONMAN acts:
-didnt answer call, didnt bother to
-change phone no/switch off handphone
-newbies, few post
-suspicious posts, less details on items sold

i said before, i have 16 of them... but some is faulty, so i did sell the one un-faulty only... i send 3 to u, 1 is faulty, (which i did use that maxtor a few days before, for testing, and no faulty) > so this must be the poslaju guy dropped the package too hard....

that maxtor athena thingy? yes i have one now in my pc detected as athena, but its not faulty, as when i pull out the cable a bit, it just work like a charm...

but nevermind all this, i still consider the maxtor is faulty, i did allow u to reflash the firmware, but u said its faulty, so i believe u its faulty...

between me and my supplier, i had an agreement with him where, we had a few 'procedures' we have to take.... once i get the money, i give to him, he gave me the supply..... onece item is faulty, either i replace the item 1-1 (within warranty period), or just refund.... untill one of us didnt get anything, like if he didnt get any money from me, i cant get any supply from him... blablabla... one by one... mr lai's money is with him, untill he gave me mr lai's money, i have to wait till i get it, so i cant give u ur refund, thats why! u dun understand......

ok, u said its between u and me, u buy from me, so i have to pay u first then get the money from him.... same case with u, u deal with me, and u get scloded by ur boss, WHY dont u pay the item using ur money first and get the refund from me later???? after 2 weeks now u realised that? dun wanna waste cr by calling me asking for refunds? what a bout me, aledi 3rd topup calling him every day, every 2-3 hours asking for the money....

now should he in any event had made some fault, that doesn't mean his SAFE TRADER status is nullified. after all, he DID NOT cheat you or anything. people make mistakes. some times, people need time. there might be delay.

perhaps some miscommunication, or some parts he did not thought off - but it doesn't even look at all serious enough to revoke his status. 1 mistake doesn't make a SAFE TRADER unsafe...........unless there really was a con-case, which in this case it's not.

heck what is there to revoke in the first place when the accused hasn't even spoken. (the quotes were taken from page 1 & 2 before pokju posted)

i believe , its all started with this scenario:
the was once, in the forum, a topics have been created about a hardware tech kind off, we keep discussing blablabla, which is PC/SERVER hardware ( my specialty) ..... a few pages, then this guy started to give some kind of FALSE, FUNNY info to forumers there, which i believe that a girl was asking before him....
as an admin, and a guy who knows a lot more of hardware than him, i stood up and stating the real facts!
and, as u know, he's a freak, and trying to be smart with me..... he tells me a 'fact' (that is not a 'fact') about hardware that i couldnt agree.... the topics becomes hot, flaming comes from him, and tried to 'MENEGAKKAN BENANG YANG BASAH'.... i told him to face the facts that he's wrong and i tried to tell that to him and others, which is nothing to be ashamed off.... maybe becoz of that he started to yell not-so-nice comments, and after a few blablabla discussion wif admins, i agreed to BAN him for a week.....

minutes after, he created a new acc (that is highly unacceptable).... and started to created a topic bashing me..... a mod saw, informing me, deleted the topics (yes, my forum policy, same like LYN policy) and add another few days for him.....

as to your dissatisfaction towards action taken - you could always talk to them. they're not unreasonable people, instead of coming here to post not-so-constructive posts.

The buyer got annoyed when his boss bugged him bout it, unfortunately the seller 'terlantar' in hospital, which is unforseen circumstances. Both feeling are understandable. Just a suggestion to the seller, why not just refund and get back the HDD without waiting for your supplier just to show more sincerity. And btw, the HDD might need a bit of firmware flasing afterall, so dont waste it.

What I would like to see in the future, I think the supporter should refrain from any one-sided post without listening fr both party. I do believe the 'safe trader tag' do mean something. Anyone with the tag should be given a grace period to explain himself in before any decision by the mod to remove the tag.

I agree with what lauyah too...both party have their reason. But due to buyer getting pressure from boss, he really have to push things hard. Due to seller having some illness, he made mistakes. It's all understanable.

As for revoking the safetrade status, depends on how strict the mods want to enforce them. Seller did made some very minor mistake but personally for me, I think that mistake is not that great to cause his safetrade tag revoked.
