i thought this question was asked already...best is actually to go KH cycle.. is your question related to a pricing problem or availability problem?

you can try and call up evanda RMB to look for your parts and get them to advice you who has it.. they don't sell direct to end users... last i ask, they told me to order it from samy bike shop in batu caves if they don't have what i want...

That is the sole reason why they stilll use BB90 which is to make a wide downtube to handle the torsional loads from the BB section... the tubing shape is not a worry cos it's still very thin at the end of the day.. it's not like a whole solid chuck of carbon there or something like despite looking chunky...

handling wise, it should be no slouch.. if you take the domane, then maybe cos the fork rake is different if i am not wrong...

and the ride should be quite tuned out as they use a ride tuned seat mass to kill out the road buzz...

the fat fat fat frame make me thing that the bike is heavy but it isnt. it is more suited to gorilla rider like cavendish, greipel, imo. but the thing is schleck looks ok on it. just toying with the idea of getting a trek as the ultimate bike..but perhaps better wait for the legendary sl5 rolleyes.gif

spez has run out of innovations for the tarmac line up.. .they can only get a bike that light and that stiff and what they can do with the SL5 is just to make it lighter and i bet they don't want to sell a new model just on the basis of being lighter (thinking in their shoe lar)...and neither can they integrate aero into the tarmac line because it clashes with their venge lineup which is counter productive..... and they can't make it any more comfier cos it will bang knuckles with the roubaix line up...

they are in a rut now, which is why it took so long to launch a new model within that line... there is nothing that can convince people to spend more money on buying a new bike....

ya..perhaps same bike but lighter and stiffer. what else can be for future development if not those two things. it has to be better than SL4, else there'll be no enough points for people to choose sl5 over sl4.

Why not get Madone 5.2 or 5.9 Its the same frame design as madone 6/7 but its made out of lower grade carbon (havier) and its made in asia (by giant?).

Not to mention the 2013 current year paint scheme (as seen in 5.9) is the best looking as it mimic their factory taem paint.

Does anyone of you back off and continue pushing on when you are suffering from the pain while exerting watts?

Being said, i wondered if the current trek dealer dont give a fucuk about promoting treks in Malaysia? They doing it so that they can fullfill their quota to maintain the right for distributorship? I see shitloads of treks and spez and giant when i was in Australia. Trek australia (distributor) are also helpful when i called up to them and ask their stuff.

haiyah.. u no understand...

like for now... sl4 already says... "nothing is lighter and stiffer"... launching an sl5 which is lighter and stiffer than sl4 makes them contradict themselves and look like a dumb fool at the end of the day isn't it...

so, they have to innovate some new shit onto the bike before they can launch a new version of the tarmac mar...

like when trek launched 6.9SL to 6.9SSL boasting a lighter frame... they evolve the madone again when they introduced KVR tubes into the Madone 7 while all the time retaining the Madone 6's properties...

Cervelo also did the same with the R5 by trickling down the so called "new squoval 3" tubing from the RCA....

something like that lar... i bet spez dun wan to introduce something like a full carbon rear drop out which they claim improves shifting by 5% and sell you a new frame right... so, everyone is looking for something extra on top of stiffer and lighter because it is the expected thing with a new bike...

haha. that's why they have marketing department la butthead. they'll come up with something else. "lighter and stiffer than the sl4 and nothing is lighter and stiffer than sl5 u geddit?!"

for those training hard, listen to your body. better still, get a proper training book especially if you are training on powermeter else it'll be just an expensive meter, that's it.

how you know cramps won't lead to sudden heart attack... or it's possible that like u kena cramp, then you suddenly fall out of the bed onto the floor while knocking over the bedside table and then the bedside table lamp fall onto you and give you a electric shock inducing heart attack???

that might happen....

didn't you watch final destination... things that are un-expected do happen... like a kid running with a broom macam harry potter riding his magic broom while you are kneeling down on the floor and the kid suddenly slip on a banana peel and the broom stick goes flying up your bunghole and then come out the other end through your mouth...

how you know that shit ain't gonna happen???

Too much of heart streanous activity can lead to scarring. so HR is still the best way to save you during a climb. if you only watch your PM, chances is you may die of heart explosion. kapoof hmm.gif
