Guys,

I am in the mid of building my vintage bike and now sourcing for 700c wheelset compatible to Shimano hub. Preferably 80's / 90's era design.

Mind share me if you have seen anywhere or if you would like to sell yours, do PM me.

Thx

Guys, I just found a scratch on my bike caused by last time dropped...that small area can see just little carbon fibre probably the paint drop...search online found carbon fibre will absorb water, should I apply clear cost on It or put a vinyl sticker will do?
*
i've read one of tech editors or manufacturers response about this and it said carbon will not absorb water.

but some say it can.

anyway, i've had some scratches too. i used auto spray once, didn't really like the result. and then i used plastic model top coat for small nicks.

urs is clear gloss coat or matte finish?

the scratch can see the fibre like short hair line but just little, bike shop ask me put vinyl sticker will do...i thinking to use automotive clear gloss coat like a layer above metallic colour of car...not matte finish...is this appropriate?
*
i use something like this

but mine is matte finish enamel type.

stickers work just fine. but i don't like stickers.

can i use this? Does fibre seen gonna affect the whole structure n lead to crack?
*
should not be a problem la. as long as there's no solvent element in it that can unbind the epoxy/resin in the carbon layup.
