My car should arrive tomorrow.. getting excited

good to know its normal. its kinda usefull during rainy days like this early in thd morning. feel warm but i scare constant hot air will ruin the air piping? haha

there is aso a quite obvious tuk sound when on the air cond. sound like open valve ? sometimes early morning sound like air cond going to explode next seconds.

Been driving my almera for almost 2 weeks and i'm going for the 1st service tmr.

FC is not really great though..average 450km/full tank (Rm 75/full tank)

And I found that this car is extremely bad at pick up ... Even a Myvi is far better.

Other than that, all seems perfect. Any comment?

My VL bad FC lorr... Last weekend went outstation. Full tank Shell 97 only get 400km..return journey bhp 95 full tank only get 330km.. Siao lah this car.. How to save petrol? I really dont understand.. Oredi sibeh light footed.. Have to complain to SC next service..Btw, i found the seat very uncomfortable.. Awkward position in order to get good grip of steering.. No support to thigh..tiring leg whenever drive for longer period

Hello all sifus, anyone know how to check the gearbox fluid level? I cant seem to find the dip stick. I think I found the dip stick at the bottom right of the engine, stucked to the gearbox, but I cant pull it out.

A check to the booklet says that we need to bring the car to service centre to check if we need to change the tranmission fluid.

I don't know how to explain it but i think the sound you hear is the gear being unlocked so you can move it down to the other gears.

I was wondering is it bcoz of the Auto climate A/C ?

Hi Almerians

I read quite a few post in LYN about the Almera being floaty / unstable when driven fast on highway. Some say even at 110kph it feels floaty. I don't expect it to perform like fast & furious as I know the Almera is built for comfort & not for speed & fast cornering. But to drive @ 110kph on a straight road and feel floaty seems quite odd to me. The design of a Nissan can't be that poor right ? 
I'm just wondering if anyone has experience an improvement after fitting a body kit eg maybe an Impul one or a 3rd party body kit ? I will be using my car for city drive with the occasional outstation drive a few times a year & also to the highways around Klang Valley.

Any feedback is appreciated.

My aunt bought a Latio instead of Almera.

I recommended her City, she said expensive. Then I mentioned Preve, she said no Proton.

End up that day I saw the Latio... I asked her why not Almera, she said plain?!?!?!

I am like... The Latio isn't any interesting either, it's new car but super old stock... I have not seen such a "new" car delivery, paint all oxidized, super visible watermarks everywhere. And the SA only give her RM1000 discount. Oh my...

The original tyre is 185/65/15. I see a lot of ppl mention changing to either 185 or 195/60/15. By changing to a lower profile tyre i.e. fr 65 to 60 is sure to improve the handling but will the spedometer still be accurate as the number of rotation of the tyre will also change due to lower profile. Any input fr the sifus in the tread ?

Guys...how much did u paid for 20k service? I'm going to service my almera soon..saw the price is rm260 something at nissan website..but i do not believe it as last time when i service my almera for 10k...the price is diff from they charged me..they said the one that shown at the website is just basic service...

done my 20K on last saturday...rm500 burn..walao...for this service..they change the aircond filter which cost rm130..is it same with you?and they have do the balancing and alignment to me which cost about rm50 i think..and two more optional thing..one oil for better performance engine..and one oil to help engine start smooth in the morning...these two thing about rm 60..

PRO:

Noticed that my almera performance way much better than before..seriously..better pickup and smoothly overtake...

CON:

Burn my RM500 instead basis service that supposedly only rm260 which stated in the website..

Just booked V A/T (Brilliant White) for my wife

The SA gave me 2 options:

1) 4k rebate
2) Forget about the rebate, instead he will give me:
    - Nismo Body-kit
    - 6.75" HD Touch Screen DVD Player
    - Door Visor
    - Trunk Tray
    - 4M Tinted
    - Others (Smart-Tag + Touch N Go, Stering Lock, Road Tax Holder & Full Tank Petrol

The SA did mentioned that although the car manufactured in 2013, but the registration year will be 2014.. I think he want to convince me on the Resale Value thingy (which I dont think there is any different, its still considered 2013 rite?). Nevertheless, its irrelevant since we plan to use the car for long-term (6-8 years)...

As of now, I'm going for Option 2. Need you guys opinion, whether the offer was good enough or I should ask for more?
