I urge you all to read the FAQ over at gamefaqs.com

Squad leaders get points for issue-ing the correct orders. Everytime a squad members kills(especially), heals, or whatever in the vicinity, they get points for it. As for the members, they DO NOT SEE IT. But it will be recorded.

Same goes for commanders, usually squad leaders assign their own mission, but is commanders give correct/good orders, the squad leaders WILL follow thus earning the commander some points when the squad leader's squad does a good job.

NEVER use the MOVE command as it does nothing. Only attack, defence will earn points.. And make sure you issue orders everytime after completing an objective.

Squad leaders should stay with their members if possible, because it too will earn them extra points if the leader is nearby.

MOVE command is useful for proper orders.
especially when sneaking around the back road in urban maps.
you dont want your squad to split up, which they would probably do if you just issue the ATTACK cmd on a flag.
so you plan a proper route to the flag you want to attack.

and for commanders also, you can tell the squad to move to a certain location to pick off those guys who try to go the back route.

I think that 29 point you got won't add to your overall points. When the map is over and a new map loads, everyone will start back at 0.

i think it will, not sure if this is same as the BF2 problem cos my scores were updated even when the round updated me as private on xx/40. smile.gif

just that my score is not 500 - 600/330 smile.gif still gunner silver.

As I was saying. If you place ATK/DEF on a certain CP/Silo, it affects the whole area.

Meaning that, if the squad is currently in the defence area, it will earn points from any enemy it kills around the area.. It's quite large.

But it also works like this: Squad A is at Silo 1, and he commands his squads to go attack Silo 2. Anything that is killed within/around that straight line to Silo 2, will also earn you points.

So either ways, placing orders correctly, WILL earn your teams some massive points. Was playing with Yoshuka earlier on and this was exactly what he was doing, placing orders after orders and defence at the right time. Not a single time did I see a MOVE command.. But I'm not sure when we were attacking the titan tongue.gif

[Edit] We also racked up alot of points.. And as I said, you won't notice it till the end of the game.

It's quite decent la, cam the G36C for SpecOps. Large clip, low recoil, accurate. Just like the G36C it's only drawback is its lack of stopping power smile.gif

if you DC normally the stats will be saved on EA.
unless the server you're playing on crashes before the round ends, then you lose everything during that round.

and the commander bonus score.
i think you meant career points, cos thats the one that lets you rank up.
the global score determines what position you are in the stats.

I think that there's alot awards you can easily get daily.. Such as..

If you're a good fragger, then Combat Efficiency is very common.. But for 5 kills streak is only 5 points? (5 kills = 5 points + 5 from pin)

Titan Destruction gives 20 points, and you only need to take down four Titan Turrets.. Get one down, wait for engi to repair gun.. shoot again, another point! (I usually take these down with AT rockets laugh.gif)

Resupply/Revive awards: Resupply can be really quick in titan attacks/defence because of so many people around. Y'day, 1st time play support, 1st time get resupply badge tongue.gif Too easy. However Revive badge is a different story doh.gif

I'm still waiting for "Good Conduct" and all the other "Hours" awards.. With those 500 points.. easy rank ups smile.gif

Halo ribbon is easy to attain too.

How much are the points? My first air-def badge was sitting in walkers turrets for too long. After getting the badge, I was very temped to upgrade it by doing 12 kills with AA.

@ all: Sorry for all that 'info' I was writing up there.. Seeing this thread is filled with Battlefield 2 vets, I'm pretty sure the info I give is kinda 'n00bi3' tongue.gif

errr yeah! I think so. I get confused between the two laugh.gif so the commander bonus score doesnt add up to the career points, but only to the global points ?

oh and one new thing I learned: The baur's bullet's pierces through the cockpit of EU Transports. brows.gif killed the pilot as he was landing his thing on my titan.
