downloading from my hostel. 16 hours and counting down. hopefully by tonight can play. Is the multiplayer limited to internet play or can LAN be done as well ?

Unfortunately the Demo is restricted to Online Multiplayer only
Theres no LAN and no singleplayer Unlike bf2 demo

I was just about to plan to play LAN with my friends. sigh. I hope my hostel connection can play well to teh internet. Not hoping for much. How is the connection btw?

For those 'veteran' player... we still cant retain the status in demo??

I think the name you use for demo is just any dummy name you want. Only the later retail version will need a valid USERID and password.

they did say ranking is disabled in the demo......

this morning, GA provide 400 ms thx to streamyx... thkfully we have JP server, which most of the time... full...

but the game itself, just not my cup of tea. ill buy this but i think i will play BF2 (still my fav!) more until ET:QW comes out.

wha? suddenly the idea of downloading this feels like a lost cause. on a personal note, I get the idea that BF2 is more graphically advanced than this one. ppl been saying that the map loads faster compared to BF2 and overall better performance.

I think its because there is not much vegetation to be rendered this time compared to BF2. The future looks more barren

after trying the demo i feel as if im playing a mod for bf2.. but i kinda fancy the titan mode. all the guns.. haih.. too futuristic..

Waiting for crest to come by at my plc and drop the beta cd. LOL

many ppl claim they can get full speed with EA downloader

i had problems with EA Downloader.
keeps on disconnecting for no certain reason.
