im getting the demo first which is already confirmed
and so is an open beta
but will only get it if theres a local (ping 200 below) server with 40++ players

anyways theres a lot of facts which have already been relesed on the web including a mountable Shotgun launcher on rifles and snipers killing non-armored infantry with ONE shot.and also much improved squad play system

lolz open beta was out at 4am malaysian time
sadly i go to work and only managed to check at 8.00am
by the time i checked it was closed already

Acctually very fun gameplay
its not to overpowering like bf2 where mostly vehicles dominate all
in 2142 you get a very balanced vehicle + inf combat

the unlocks are acctually very important in the game
in the beta i got the spec-ops tree so i got demo charges and invisibility.

well ill tell more after tuesday when the beta is over
so i wont break the NDA rules

Btw planes in bf2142 is very very different from planes in bf2
2 EMP missiles and you literally drop out of the sky

Unfortunately the Demo is restricted to Online Multiplayer only
Theres no LAN and no singleplayer Unlike bf2 demo

better turn off camera shake
some people will get motion sickness from playing this game.
btw if you think the enginner is great now
wait till you get the Anti-vehicle Rifle unlock.

you just need to use the www.ea.com account to play the bf2142 demo
and no just like many website accounts , unless you request for a deletion it wont be deleted

even though you register your account in-game it will still automaticly create an www.ea.com account
but for the retail or final version , i think gamespy will be handleing the accounts.

either way gamespy or ea itself will be handling accounts

I just got the Deluxe Edition but no camera yet so no pics
the moble strap havent come so have to wait till this thursday

If your com Specs are the one on your sig
you need an upgrade to play it smoothly
seriously geforce 6150 , and 2x256MB ram will cause major lag in bf2 and bf2142
turn down all settings to low , and never play the titan mode.

Stats server is slowing down cause to much load.
servers will only transfer points and a few badges but will update the others in 1 day or so.

The AVR takes a few seconds to fire and a few more seconds to reach its target.
although ive never played SF , but from hearing proples comment its like the RPG.

Mechs dont have weakspots aside from the backside or the vents which are Very hard to hit properly unless the driver is AFK.either way it takes 2 shots to kill the mech by hitting the weakpoints.
tanks on the other hand have a major weakpoint , which is the rear.
1 rocket,avr,railgun to the back and the tank will be at 1hp.

lolz i always forgive teamkillers.
BTW anyone can reccomend me (or is selling a 2nd hand) a good mouse since my mouse wheel cannot use, and seeing is how important the mousewheel is in bf2142.
currently using the num+ and num- for a mousewheel.
