My first time doing 1T.
Don't look at the speed and latency, look at the Command Rate.

It's surprising my OCZ SLi Ready Edition 4GB DDR2 PC2-6400 800MHz can do 800MHz @ 5-4-4-15 @ 1T with only 2.0Volts.

In fact, it can do both 1T & 2T at the same voltage of 2.0Volts.

Calling for csktl1.

bro shawty, this cpuz how do you modify that timing tables to show the latest ones?
IINM Only Nvidia Nforce 780i, Nvidia NForce 680i & Nvidia NForce 650i chipset based motherboard can adjust the T through bios.
But, i'm sure that you can't adjust the T on Intel chipset based motherboard through bios. Because i've used a lot of Intel chipset based motherboard from various chipset, none of them can adjust the T through bios.

You can only adjust the T on Intel chipset based motherboard using some sort of program which i myself never use before. laugh.gif
I dont know how to explain how the T's affect the real world but maybe some experts could come and explain it here.

However, just look at what sniper69 says above my post then you'll understand how good is 1T over 2T. smile.gif

From what i've learn through reading, 800MHz @ 4-4-4-12 @ 1T is always better than 800MHz @ 3-3-3-8 @ 2T

i think it's main advantage to nForce base chipset here icon_idea.gif
NForce rawks! rclxm9.gif
However, NForce chipset has it's own major weakness: NForce, since the age of NForce 4, they've always been known as the biggest heat producer, even until now. rclxub.gif

I haven't been following recent DDR2 performances but if memory serves me right, comparison reviews between 1T and 2T for DDR2 showed no significant differences, if any......  hmm.gif
Try running a program that do a lot of calculations in a second, from there you'll see which one will complete faster.

My 1st time OC Corsair VS ram 2x 2gb ddr2 667mhz
Really suprise me it can go up to 1066mhz & more..........
Just using 2.1 Vdimm thumbup.gif

But cpuz showing wrong info on the memory capacity = 6656mb ohmy.gif
Wow, that's impressive for 2GB sticks.
Furthermore, it's valuerams.

Any higher clocks?
Maybe with a higher vdimm?

hi all.,want to ask here i'm using gigabyte P35 DS3 v.2.1 can this mobo support ocz sli edition 4gb kits.,tq..
Yes you can use that ram perfectly on that board.
But offcourse you can't activate EPP Profile on that board.

so does anybody know what the chipset they use for ocz 4gb sli edition..?
The answer is simple:
It's not Micron D9GCT, it's not Micron D9GMH, it's not Micron D9GKX & it's not ProMOS.

No 2GB ram sticks uses those chips.
Those chips only comes on 512MB & 1GB ram sticks.

Someone is going to get a Crucial Ballistix DDR2 PC2-6400 800MHz 4GB Kit from me for a review later.
I wonder who that is. whistling.gif

To those who knows, don't tell, let the curious people go on being curious LOL. laugh.gif

well as you tighten the timings, i believe u pump in more Vcore... sooo yeah maybe u will damage your rams brows.gif
Not maybe.
It will damage your ram for sure.

It's not going to kill your ram instantly, it'll take time.
But it'll die for sure one day later.

By the way, Micron D9GMH can run at 800MHz @ 3-3-3-8 lar.
Team Xtreem TXDD1024M800HC3DC / TXDD2048M800HC3DC Low Latency comes with 3-3-3-8 latency lar.

That's what lifetime warranty are for. tongue.gif
However, before you go crazy with the timings, make sure you have a spare ram at your side lar. smile.gif

Yeah, mind to know the voltage use to reach CL3 at 800Mhz.  icon_rolleyes.gif
The Team Xtreem DDR2 PC2-6400 800MHz 2GB Kit Low Latency CL3 comes with a reference voltage of 2.2Volts ~ 2.35Volts.

That Team Xtreem DDR2 PC2-6400 800MHz 2GB Kit Low Latency CL3 is the most expensive DDR2 PC2-6400 800MHz 2GB Kits ever. laugh.gif

yeah its like rm500  sweat.gif  just for 2GB lol... better get 10th annies.. for rm290 and clock it cl3..
QUOTE(skymyxe @ Mar 10 2008, 08:43 AM)
Yeah, it almost double. Could get 4 sticks of Crucial 10th. Only have to use a considerable high voltage to achieve CL3.  icon_rolleyes.gif
That's where you guys got it wrong.

You see, the Team Xtreem DDR2 PC2-6400 800MHz 2GB Kit Low Latency is made to withstand 2.2Volts ~ 2.35Volts.
Which means the ram will be living longer than any other rams when you use 2.2Volts to 2.35Volts on it.

Crucial 10th anni is only made to withstand 2.2Volts.
When you use higher voltage, it'll die faster compared to the Team Xtreem Low Latency. smile.gif

That's why the Team Xtreem DDR2 PC2-6400 800MHz 2GB Kit Low Latency is uber expensive compared to any other DDR2 PC2-6400 800MHz high performance ram that is based on Micron D9GMH chipsets.

However, buying that is still a waste of money, unless you're the mad overclocker type, then that's another story. laugh.gif
