Not like Newcastle is great form also. Damn, valuable 3 points dropped for no reason.

QUOTE(kucingmainan @ Nov 2 2013, 10:35 PM) Ya loh. Should have been an easy win considering Newcastle current form. Oscar is poor the whole game. Dunno why mou sub Mata instead of him. agree. It may be a tactical choice, but i still prefer someone who's playing better to stay on.First 25 min, we started well. But we didn't progress after that point, finished the half in mediocre fashion and 2nd half was poor which is surprising since we always play better 2nd half after poor opening half. |

Mou very disappointed. Said we deserve to lose but NU don't deserve to win. also said he felt like he picked 11 wrong players.

QUOTE(Kerplunk @ Nov 2 2013, 11:26 PM) I do believe his age is slowly but surely beginning to show. This. Our AMs don't find crossing sexy apparently. Always prefer to cut in and pass around the box. No need blindly cross every time la, but when have decent chance of Torres or anyone else to get to the ball first, cross the damn ball in to the box.Too patient is a pretty good description actually.many times we see our attacking players bursting forward when we dispossess them in midfield, but 99% of the time we play it safe, slow things down and pass it backwards. P.s : what's with this bloody reluctance to cross as well?? |

QUOTE(masterpoloking @ Nov 2 2013, 11:48 PM) well deserved win for Newcastle.. but please dont say november/december curse kicking in because its just 1st match in November. we will bounce back strongly i believe.. now onto champions league match against schalke at home, really hope we can win this and secure our spot in ucl knock out stage earlier +1 for spirit.Disappointing loss, but let's keep faith on the team. Our squad now deep enough to change players if needed. I believe Mou will know what to do. |

QUOTE(Ichighost @ Nov 3 2013, 09:50 AM) hahaha adventurous sgt. tp interception..header..positioning..marking semua dah almost at terry nye level.. But Terry is 99% consistency. He was boss yesterday. Luiz pulak, some time defend like legend, then suddenly turn off for a while, commit to a rush challenge, but fail to get the ball. Luiz defending is good, just that it's not consistent. For defenders, they don't look at each time u defend well, they look at each time u don't.if mourinho not flip out that mean he already knew the problem..bring us the next game.. November and December...always two months that we lose points. |

QUOTE(briantwj @ Nov 3 2013, 04:52 PM) if we are to play 433, we need a super strong striker (LUKAKU!) to hold up the ball and bring in the players. Too bad Anzhi offered us Eto and Roman nodded his head. We had to let Lukaku loaned out to gain more playing time. We've won only 1 away league game out of 5. So we can't we're still in a comfortable position nor we're in critical situation. Just that many other teams dropped quite a few points so far this season. As long the situation doesn't worsen from this point, we should be ok. Arsenal 5 points clear, so if they mess up, we have to capitalize and we won't if we fall to far behind. It's just 1 defeat guys, and Newcastle is our bogey team. So yea, heads held high and looking forward to how we bounce back from this defeat. |

If play Mikel in mid and push full backs forward, we playing like back 3 already. Just that while defending we play 4-4 defensive line. Its hard predict what tactical changes JM will try to impose, if any, but either way I'm expecting to be impressed with our performance later.

QUOTE(briantwj @ Nov 8 2013, 10:45 PM) Ram Mikel pairing is more to solidarity. yup. During the schalke game, when pivot has the ball, got good options to pass the ball forward(usually longer passes), but Mikel/Ram take safer option most of time. Maybe Lamps would have attempted few of those.Lamp Mikel pairing is more balance as Lamp's passing is usually nice. Added on Sportsmail/Dailymail reports that Hazard missed training session because he lost his passport during his visit to Lille. This post has been edited by Zeuss1220: Nov 9 2013, 12:35 AM |

QUOTE(max_cavalera @ Nov 9 2013, 09:20 PM) for me this dude have been very neat and tidy and keep it compact in midfield...he deserve to play but due to his over defensive quality we should field him if our front 3 is too attacking minded...i notice why we won 3-0 at schalke is though schurrle, oscar and willian might not be so brilliant offensively, but they are incredibly hard working and quickly covered the space when we are defending and dont have the ball.....even in the jose comments he appreciate those qualities very much... Excellent point you made there.to me football is about 2 type of play..when you have the ball and when you dont have the ball....obviously the team he pick against schalke is very good in both those type....im not sure if hes gonna maintain that tonite or revert to much more offensive ppl tonite... Jose makes his team selection based on that. He plays player who can provide both types of work rate. However, the likes of Hazard and Mata have exceptional attacking qualities on the ball. So he has to allow some adjustments in the balance of the team. The team vs Schalke are hard working players, but I don't think that is the best possible line up overall. |

Don't you think Iva and Azpi should swap roles. Let Iva be the more reserved full back, and let Azpi attack and put crosses on his favoured side.
