I think hazard given less intensive role, hence the central position. But that mean Mata has to take over wide duty, not really effective i would say

January window during WC year must be careful. Players desperate for game time, higher tendency to opt for a transfer. I only can see Mata playing as attacking No.10 under Mou, but Oscar takes the first choice slot, on merit I would add. If Mata does move, it would be a massive loss to Chelsea, and a huge gain for almost any team in Europe's elite.

If Mata and KDB need game time for WC, I would suggest loan moves for both, but a huge question mark on that one. Odd suggestion, but as a fan of both players, that would be my ideal case. But from the club's perspective, if both players are involved in any transfer activity, we are more likely to cash in one of them.

Hazard-Mata-Willian could work. Mata only can play center, whereas Willian can play wide. It's basically replacing Oscar in the normal JM lineup with Mata. There'll be less off the ball work-rate, significantly so, however, attacking wise, few are better than Mata playing as No.10 and very few combos are better than Mata-Hazard. That's the only way Mata will fit in the team.
