Yeah root is enough. Nowadays with simplistic you can basically mod your own rom already.

Just slip my phone from 1 metre high onto laminate floor. Camera first and upper bezel. Everything intact except for one of the back plate's clip

guys, I bought a new s-view cover but when I close the casing, it does not show the s-view screen. Anyone experienced that mind sharing the solution? thanks
