QUOTE(joanalooidog @ Nov 4 2013, 10:37 PM) Hi all, my wife's S3 die d, most likely is the damage of the EMMC, and just after warranty period. sorry to heard that pal... But except samsung itself, got ppl can fix this kind of issue? Samsung quote me Rm6++, which is expensive. May I know any mobo shop in Klang valley that can repair that with a reasonable price? Any recommend? Mind to share which rom using and caused the dmg? |

QUOTE(dark_axl21 @ Nov 4 2013, 10:54 PM) Ya, normally for the first time, it will Yea, something wrong with the "root" I guess. Last night was flashed leak 4.3, then used Odin 3.07 & .0.9 to root (CF Auto root), the device still can't detect the root.. Until today, flashed Wamanlite leak 4.3 based, only got root, perform well with other apps like Titanium Backup. Just the Xposed app.. Hais..Well before giving up entirely, trying checking SuperSU and see if anything went wrong there? I guess the CF-auto Root no really compatible for 4.3 leak? Duno? QUOTE(mtxx @ Nov 2 2013, 11:36 PM) I may try it again. Come to think of it, I never tried 4.1 aosp ROMs before. it supposed to be great i guess, but the stability might be questionable. but i'm having a problem now, both slimbean 4.2.2 and 4.3 is having a stability issue in mobile data. it kept dropping data signal, and i can't get it back unless i restart my phone. this doesn't happen with stock touchwiz. right now still trying to sort it out. kinda frustrated 4.3 slim bean and cm is so buggy. Feels like a downgrade. Especially camera and browser I wanted to check 4.1 due to curiosity. What are your thoughts on 4.1? More stable and smooth than 4.2? |

QUOTE(vankodoq @ Nov 4 2013, 01:40 PM) Hi all, I'm a Galaxy S3 user and just yesterday I accidentally dropped my phone. It hit a rough asphalt surface and now the screen's cracked. Does anyone know the estimated cost to fix it? And any shop nearby KLCC which is trustworthy? Thanks. get ready around 400 to 600 ringgit for screen replacement, just send to samsung center. |

If you are using digi, I guess it's telco problem. Yesterday I try various ROMs. Aokp milestone 2 and cm10.1 I realize they speed up the default animations speed in Slimbean. The ones in cm and aokp are slower and moother. Since aokp keep getting camera can't connect issue, I stick to cm. Like the smooth animations. Does anyone know where the developers option is located on 4.3?
Okay, found it! QUOTE On devices running Android 4.2 and higher, developer options are hidden by default. You can reveal them at any time by tapping 7 times on Settings > About phone > Build number on any compatible Android device. QUOTE(-kytz- @ Nov 5 2013, 09:53 AM) Thanks!
