i am using slimbean 4.2.2 build 8

my keyboard never force close before.
you got flash gapps? for slimbean, no need to flash gapps.
the rom itself have play store already. all the other gapps are downloadable from the play store
i tried slimbean 4.3, its like a downgrade from 4.2
similar to cm10.2, the aosp browser is so laggy, its worst than s2 on gingerbread.
and the camera is so terrible in terms of control.

planng to flash a new rom any custom to recom?????

(no idea why yank dont post in xda, but in his own forum, yank is active slimbean user, and his kernel is tested using slimbean, be sure not to install the wrong one, install the cm10.1 version for android 4.2)
4.3 brings not improvement in smoothness,
but add more bugs and app not working list
~superbeam app not working
~super laggy aosp browser
~worst camera than 4.2

in slim 4.3, recommended to take the weekly installs, they have fixes, and spam flash is fun yo~

i never really compare both before
but from what i understand, aosp rom built on hacks and open source driver
while touch wiz rom run on official drivers and fully working hardware composer

Touchwiz have lots of bloatware, after deleting with titanium backup
doesnt seem to have noticeable impact on battery life also.

the real question is:
different rom really affect battery life?

I wanted to flash slimbean 4.1 to see wether its more stable and solid than 4.2
I never liked the 4.2 camera, the delay when changing orientation is really annoying.

But I can't get 4.1 to work. After a clean install, I keep getting aosp keyboard force close. It probably need google service to be updated. But I can't enter play store to update it, because I can't insert my google account. Why? Because the keyboard is not working, I can't bring up the keyboard, I can't connect to wifi too because I can't bring up keyboard to type my password.

So does this mean there's no way to go back to aosp based 4.1 roms?

I may try it again. Come to think of it, I never tried 4.1 aosp  ROMs before.

4.3 slim bean and cm is so buggy. Feels like a downgrade. Especially camera and browser

Hi all, I'm a Galaxy S3 user and just yesterday I accidentally dropped my phone. It hit a rough asphalt surface and now the screen's cracked. Does anyone know the estimated cost to fix it? And any shop nearby KLCC which is trustworthy? Thanks.

Yesterday I try various ROMs. Aokp milestone 2 and cm10.1 

I realize they speed up the default animations speed in Slimbean. The ones in cm and aokp are slower and moother. Since aokp keep getting camera can't connect issue, I stick to cm. Like the smooth animations.
