Never bother to try the launcher. I prefer nova

Camera has smooth animation.
But still sucks due to rotation delay. Come on, already 2 update still have this bug. Also,  Photosphere don't work.

I wanted to flash slimbean 4.1 to see wether its more stable and solid than 4.2
I never liked the 4.2 camera, the delay when changing orientation is really annoying.

But I can't get 4.1 to work. After a clean install, I keep getting aosp keyboard force close. It probably need google service to be updated. But I can't enter play store to update it, because I can't insert my google account. Why? Because the keyboard is not working, I can't bring up the keyboard, I can't connect to wifi too because I can't bring up keyboard to type my password.

So does this mean there's no way to go back to aosp based 4.1 roms?

mine's clear. slimbean 4.2.2.

tested on slimbean 4.3.1 build 2 seems ok

so far NOVA is good... others like GO have loads of themes... if you like those then you use that..

NOVA only change the icons packs...

USE Focal camera ..... i think it is good...

Have you actually tried focal before?

No focus option.
Swipe to view and delete from its gallery is laggy
No undo action if accidentally delete a pic
Need press and hold wait it focus, and release to capture, all other camera app just press once it auto focus and capture.

Most fail fail camera app ever. Period.

i came across that with my slimbean 4.2.2. my workaround, i skipped the initial setup, browse to my folder and install swiftkey, open slimcenter and uninstall latinime.

lol.. i use it once only.. hahaha.. its BETA anyway...

I may try it again. Come to think of it, I never tried 4.1 aosp  ROMs before.

4.3 slim bean and cm is so buggy. Feels like a downgrade. Especially camera and browser

Camera quality sucks compare to 4.2.
Can't snap pic when zoomed in.
AOSP browser is ridiculously laggy, even s2 on ics have smoother scrolling in browser. Not a problem for u if you prefer chrome.
AOSP rom don't have s beam, the only app that replicate what s beam do is superbeam. Superbeam don't work in sSlimbean 4.3

Browser and camera are the 2 most frequently used app for me. Losing superbeam capabilities is a big deal to me too.

SBeam is nothing more than a WifiDirect bro.. lol.. jus use wifi direct lor.. another one is software data cable.... or bump...

if saved in external card, just mount on PC and use and free data recovery software.

next time use dropbox/google plus/copy auto upload features. now you wouldn't know when you will become the statistic. even pak guard rob people now.

Pal, the bad thing is i put on the internal memory and dissapeared during the transfer.i ve try many software but didnt work because samsung disable the usb mass storage function. So any possibilities to enable the usb mass storage function? Or any expert hands here to help?. Thanks

Is it safe kernel? Some leaks are not sudden death safe.
