how much did you guys spent for a month?I means for the fish cares.
*
I missed to calculate my 1st 2 months of keeping aros
I have 2 in my possession, 1 Silver Aro & 1 Super Red Jardini
started with Silvaro end of November
and Super Red JAR 20th December 2006 (but the JAR actually 1 year++ already)
i only started calculating the cost this month, January 2007
will know about it by the end of the month sweat.gif sweat.gif sweat.gif

but, so far what can i see is, nearly RM20 in my 1st week of January 2007 sweat.gif sweat.gif rclxub.gif

gilerr...

waaa c0c0nut, good luck with your plan, all the best icon_rolleyes.gif

BTW guys,
still need to find some article on water quality for aros
have u ever stumble into any article about aros water quality
still thinking of my aros y they still breathing quite heavily especially my JAR

one of the main problem when i discussed it wif my friend is high iron in the water

why it's happen, i noticed yellowish water from the tap
i think because of the water itself
lot of iron causing yellowish water n contain lot of iron
that's y the aros breathing quite heavily

will try to add more anti chlorine

*i noticed water quality in Dengkil so few years is quite yellowish unsure.gif unsure.gif

Guys please go get his product. AZOO Aquaguard. It will help soften the water. It works for me.
*
I'll try too look for it
how much is it c0c0nut?
QUOTE(aljebat @ Jan 9 2007, 08:25 AM)
try to use better type of anti clorine that can clorine also heavy metal inside the water...
*
It's useless using anti chlorine coz anti chlorine just putting away the chlorine in the water, not the iron sweat.gif

it must be something we can use to soften the water like the one c0c0nut suggest, not anti chlorine.
notworthy.gif notworthy.gif notworthy.gif
This is what i found at AZOO website
QUOTE
However, the AZOO AQUAGUARD serves better than other conditioners in the aquarium industry. The AZOO AQUAGUARD removes residual chlorine and heavy metal ions of the tap water, protects mucus membrane of fish body, increases anti-stress ability of fish during transportation, contains special organic compounds and electrolytes, and helps fish to accommodate an new environment.
Thanks c0c0nut notworthy.gif

i think its normal...if you have tried everything den just let it be, maybe your aro just wanna exercise his jaw...
mine was like that too...WC and put all those medicine that they recommend...no use...den i let it be...now ok liao
*
Dunno laaa
but it happened to my 2 aros
that's y i'm a bit worried
QUOTE(Viperize @ Jan 10 2007, 01:50 PM)
Did u fill ur tank with full water ?
Too much water will give ur Aro stress... bcoz of water pressure.
Maybe can try to remove some water (3-5inches).
*
I tried remove some water
but still, breathing heavily

I noticed my house water tap is so full of chlorine
when i keep it in a pile for future use, i can smell the chlorine so strong

Just have noticed that my silver was damn stupid..it only eats the top level prawns but never swim down to has its meal.
*
I think most of silver aro r like that
lazy to swim at the botton but if they get hungry, they'll eat the prawn or fish at the bottom

when i'm on holiday, i left my aros with RM2 feeder fish, which it around 20 to 30 feeder fish
when i came back, i notice the aros ate almost all of the feeder fish
also, the JAR killed the koi, his tankmates
now, left with bandaraya unsure.gif unsure.gif

so far the prawn ate all the 'garbages' stucked at the filter
no need to clean my filter very hard
i noticed LFS near my house done this in his tank at the shop
good idea but need to be done thoroughly
have to make sure the prawn didn't die
